New Yorkers Have Some Things To Say About Keith Lee's Visit To The City!

Viral TikTok creator and food reviewer Keith Lee has taken his show on the road once again. This time, he's in New York City, and experiencing a whole new world of customer service and food options.

One thing's for sure - many native New Yorkers are disturbed by one specific food review and sharing their thoughts on social media.

As soon as Lee arrived in New York City, he got a DM that reads, "I see you're coming to NY!! So I highly recommend this place," the message began, before sharing a link to Taste Budz NY. "The best salmon chopped cheese I ever had!! It's called the 2 Smoove. They are a new spot that just opened recently in the area. I actually live down the block from them. However their sandwiches are amazing!!"

Lee visited and purchased the salmon chopped cheese as well as a bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll and a classic chopped cheese and shared his thoughts in a viral TikTok video captioned, "Taste Budz Deli taste test ? would you try it ? ?"

He started with the salmon chopped cheese.

"It's salmon, cheese, sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, everything on a roll," he said before taking a bite. "It's a little salty, in my opinion, but it's good. That's exactly like what it is, seasoned salmon with a bunch of sauce, tomatoes and some lettuce. I'm not mad at this, but I'm also not crazy about it."

He rated the sandwich a 7.5 out of 10, before moving on to the classic chopped cheese, that he ended up rating 8 out of 10. Then he tried the bacon, egg, and cheese. He rated that a 4 out of 10.

New Yorkers had some things to say in the comment section of the video about the salmon chopped cheese.

"No no no no!!! WHO TOLD HIM TO GET A SALMON CHOPPED CHEESE !!!! We are not starting like this," one person wrote, to which more than 15,000 people liked.

Another person added, "Keith these people are messing with u stg, cause I have never heard of a salmon chopped cheese?."

One New York resident shared the same sentiment as many others saying, "…who suggested a salmon chopped cheese? As a New Yorker I’ve never heard of that a day in my life ?"

Another follower added, "That was the most empty bacon egg and cheese I've ever seen. & wtf is a salmon chopped cheese. Nah you need a redo somewhere else."

In one viral video, New York resident TikToker Jake Musser shares the same thoughts as many others have about Lee's visit.

"If the way that Keith Lee is eating his way through New York City right now is not stressing you out, then you're not paying attention," he said. "He is doing everything wrong. And I am his biggest fan."

He then explains why he feels Lee is doing things "wrong." Musser, of course, brings up the salmon chopped cheese.

"Atlanta is sending their ops cuz there is no way someone from this city recommended salmon chopped cheese," one person hilariously wrote. Another added, "We need to find and jail the person that told him to get a SALMON CHOPPED CHEESE. ??????"

Another TikToker, Antonio Milian, also shared a video talking about Lee's NYC visit and the now infamous salmon chopped cheese.

"I haven't lived in New York in over a decade and y'all got me over here stressing out over Keith Lee," he began his video. "Y'all sent this man to Queens, the most diverse place in America and y'all told him, you know what you should order, fish from a bodega."

"Nah, my timeline is full of New Yorkers fighting for their lives about this ? ain’t no way an actual New Yorker rec’d those places," one viewer wrote. Another said, "I love how everyone's mad at NY and not Keith?."

The JoeBoss Show on TikTok also joined the chat about Lee's salmon chopped cheese review.

Looking completely shocked, Joe said, "This should be illegal. This is a crime."

"Y'all let this man eat a salmon chopped cheese out of a deli? Y'all let this man eat fish out of a deli?" he said. "Maybe it's cause I got friends and family in New York and I've been there so many times that I know that ordering fish from a deli is insane."

Many people from New York dropped into the comments to discuss the fact that they've never even heard of a salmon chopped cheese. Others made jokes about the absurdity of the situation.
