On her recent appearance on "The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon," Olivia Rodrigo admitted she has a Finsta (a fake Instagram) account.
The singer-songwriter decided to make a Finsta account after she accidentally followed her ex, which was obvious as she does not follow anyone on Instagram.
"You know, I try to follow zero people because it helps me be off of social media," Rodrigo said while on the late-night talk show. "But I had this very embarrassing encounter once," she continued.
"I was stalking my ex, as one does, sue me, sorry," the singer said to the audience. "And I accidentally followed him because I was stalking him, and I was just following one person so it was super obvious that I was following him."

"My friend ran into my room and was like 'Oh my god, did you mean to follow him? Unfollow him!'," Rodrigo continued, adding that she went to grab her phone "and went to open the Instagram app, and the second that I opened the app, my phone died."
"I couldn't find a charger so I was just following my ex for a while," she stated. The news got out that she was following her ex, but she played it off as if her account got hacked.
That is when she decided to make a Finsta account -- which is a fake Instagram account.

Olivia Rodrigo Reveals Who Inspired 'Driver's License'
The "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series" actress appeared on "The Tonight Show" to promote her upcoming musical appearance on "Saturday Night Live." When appearing on the "Saturday Night Live" promo, alongside host Adam Driver, Olivia Rodrigo "admitted" that Driver was the inspiration behind her hit song, "Driver's License."
"Hi, I'm Adam Driver, and I'm hosting SNL this week with musical guest Olivia Rodrigo," Driver said in a promo for the show alongside "SNL" star Heidi Gardner.
"OK, this is awkward," Gardner said. "Olivia Rodrigo and the guy she wrote a song about?"
"What song?" Driver asks.
"'Drivers License'? Adam Driver?" Gardner stated.
"That song's not about me!" Driver responded, to which Rodrigo then chimed in saying, "Uh, it's a hundred percent about you!"
This was obviously a playful moment as the trio was just having fun when promoting the show.
Olivia Rodrigo Gets Depressed When She Isn't Writing Songs
Last month, the singer-songwriter opened up about how she gets depressed when she isn't writing songs.
"These days, I try to write one song every day. I just feel like myself when I’m writing. If I don’t do it, I get depressed," she told Variety. "I’m just writing songs to process what’s going on, whether in my personal life or in my perception of the world."
When asked about what she hopes fans can take away from her songs, the "Driver's License" singer stated, "Honest songwriting. It’s what I’ve gravitated towards my whole life — music that helps you process what you’re feeling or comforts you when you’re feeling these big feelings. It’s just nice to know that someone else is experiencing them. It makes you feel less alone."
