Olivia Rodrigo has dropped the new video for her latest single, "bad idea right?," and so far fans seem to think the video has inspired nothing but good ideas!

The "driver's license" singer is not only in her twenties; she's in a new musical era!

Rodrigo announced her second album, "GUTS" earlier this summer, and it seems as if the Disney alumna has a lot to get off of her chest! The LP's first single, "vampire" was released at the end of June, and the music video for the album's second, "bad idea right?" was released on Friday!

Rodrigo Breaks Out The Typewriter For The 'GUTS' Aesthetic!

Rodrigo was done giving her fans hints about "GUTS" last week after revealing the album's track list! The Blast took a look at the snippets the "brutal" singer dropped on Instagram.

In her dreamy vintage teen bedroom-inspired reel, she brought out a typewriter to give followers a glimpse at a typed-out version of the track listing, followed by a closer look the next day!

Fans found themselves deeper into the "GUTS" era on August 2nd when the "vampire" songstress posted a close-up of the track listing!

It seems listeners will have plenty to relate to! Rodrigo will seemingly channel heartache, mean girls, forgiveness (or the universal feeling of not being ready to do so), and the embarrassing aspects that come with being human at any age!

Rodrigo's latest single explores reconnecting with your ex, and the universal inner-dialogue many of us surely have while ignoring logic and resorting to our desires!

In the caption to Rodrigo's latest post where she offers behind-the-scenes sneak peeks into the making of the "bad idea right?" music video, she wrote, "bad idea right? is out everywhere!!!! I had such a fun time making this song with @dan_nigro in nyc last year. we wrote the chorus as a joke but we loved it so much we made it into a full fledged song lol! I had a ball making the music video with my friends @petrafcollins @madisonhu@tatemcrae @irisapatow and I’m so happy it’s out in the world. u can listen and watch now!!!!!"

Some of Rodrigo's Instagram following couldn't get behind her latest video.

"love liv but this song felt very inappropriate, which is fine, but she does have a lot of younger listeners. and for me the only part i liked about this song when she said, my brain goes ahhhh... that's it" one follower wrote.

"I’m ngl, this was probably her worst song she’s put out. It’s a very generic pop song. It doesn’t highlight her talent very well, and doesn’t feel very creative," another weighed in.
