Shannon Beador seems to want nothing to do with alcohol, at least for the moment, following her DUI arrest in September.

After authorities busted her for drinking under the influence, "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star promised to seek help for her alcohol usage. True to her word, the reality TV star was recently spotted opting for a glass of water while mingling with the popular crowd at a party.

Shannon Beador Is Seen Sticking To Water During Night Out With Friends

The blonde entertainer kept her temptations at bay, drinking water instead of joining the other guests indulging in alcoholic beverages at the second season premiere of Amazon's "Hollywood Houselift with Jeff Lewis" series.

According to eyewitnesses, the mother of three stayed dedicated to her sobriety during the celebratory night at the Sunset Tower Hotel. The TV personality kept holding a clear cup of water as she interacted with numerous guests at the star-studded event.

Apart from refusing to be swayed by the alcoholic drinks present, sources also noted the Southern California native appeared to be in high spirits. Despite having no male partner, Beador enjoyed her night in town with her female friends.

The incident led to Beador being charged with two misdemeanors, consequences sources close to the reality TV star claim have changed the entertainer. These informants stressed the mother of three's remorse over her arrest, noting she took responsibility by participating in an outpatient behavioral wellness program with an alcohol segment, per TMZ.

Additionally, avoiding jail time seems to have influenced the "RHOC" star's ongoing sobriety journey. The Southern California native escaped incarceration after making a plea deal with prosecutors for two misdemeanor charges — driving under the influence (DUI) and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08% or more.

Beador also received a third misdemeanor count for Hit and Run, but this charge was dismissed thanks to her plea deal. As for her remaining transgressions, the mother of three pleaded no contest to driving with a blood alcohol content of .08% or more as well as driving under the influence of alcohol.

As a result, the socialite was sentenced to three years probation and ordered to do 40 hours of community service. Additionally, she was fined $390 and must participate in the First Offender Alcohol program for nine months.

These were favorable outcomes for Beador, who could have faced up to one year in jail for her actions. Fortunately, the worst-case scenario never happened, and the blonde entertainer reflected on her DUI case with gratitude, saying:

"I am grateful that no one else was injured besides me in this incident. I have learned so much from my terrible mistake that night and realized that driving any distance while impaired is too far."

Beador's attorney echoed similar sentiments, saying,  "Shannon had made full restitution to the homeowner in this matter, who did not desire prosecution."

Shannon Beador Broke Up With 'Handsome' John Janssen Before The Holidays

Months before her DUI drama, the socialite announced her membership in the single women's club following her separation from "handsome" John Janssen. In January, the reality TV star revealed the former couple had broken up before 2022's Christmas, a moment she never expected.

Janssen allegedly pulled the plug on their relationship in November 2022, an event Beador recalled in an emotional interview. "We were in a great place. But seven days later, when the cameras were down, it was a completely different story," the blonde beauty said.

"He told me he was done with the relationship. And to hear what he said to me then was absolutely devastating," the media personality lamented. Her revelation implied Janssen wanted to complete his broadcasting time on "RHOC" before dumping his ex-girlfriend.

Beador stressed that she never wanted to part from her former beau and hoped for a reconciliation. The pair's romance was one fans believed would lead down the aisle, a dream the reality TV star shared. "I was hopeful this was the man I was going to spend the rest of my life with," she confessed in the interview, adding:

"I wanted it to work out. I've never loved anyone like I've loved John. But clearly, he didn't feel the same way."

Losing the man of her dreams was a challenging experience for Beador, who did not want to publicize their breakup. However, keeping the duo's dissolution a secret meant she had to endure bumping into her mingling ex at public events, including two different USC games.
