Christine Brown's exit from polygamy comes with fresh experiences, including her newfound independence.
The "Sister Wives" star, who separated from Kody Brown in 2021, has moved on with a new husband and admitted the idea of plural marriage may not be easy for everyone to deal with.
Christine Brown Is Stronger Than Ever In New Marriage
Christine dropped a major life update yesterday for her fans, including a discovery she made less than two months into her new marriage.
The reality star looked ravishing in a pink blouse as she posed against a beautiful rocky landscape and blue skies in the new post. She paired her look with dark sunglasses and let her blonde hair sweep over her shoulder as she added the caption:
"I was always concerned I would lose my independence in monogamy. I realized the other day, being married to the right person (David for me!) that I am more independent than I ever was! #strongwoman#independent#strongerthanever#blessed."

Her fans rushed to the comment section to shower lovely compliments on the TLC star, with one fan commenting, "Looking so genuinely happy," and another added, "Honestly you look 10 years younger!!!" One more fan stressed how “happy” they were for the new couple, as David himself dropped a loving comment:
"I had surgery last Friday I’ve never been taken care of like Christine has done for me I have the best wife and soulmate that anyone could have she is my angel love you so much Christine Woolley!"
Christine’s Instagram caption did not come as a surprise as she had previously confessed to her fellow former sister wife, Janelle Brown, that polygamy is not a feasible arrangement for her. In her words:
"I think if people wanna live [plural marriage], fine. But I just, to be honest with you, I don’t see it as a great family structure and I really have a hard time with it, but I think once a guy finds the love of his life, the other women are sc—."
Christine added that she was frustrated with her experiences with polygamy, and her breaking point came when Kody disconnected from her kids and stopped being a good parent.
The 51-year-old, who came from a long line of polygamists herself, became Kody’s third wife in March 1994. However, she broke the ice in 2021 by becoming the first of three women to exit the plural marriage, leaving Kody with just one wife, Robyn Brown.

The mom of six then announced that she was seeing David on Valentine’s Day this year and got engaged two months later. Christine and David walked down the aisle last month in a fairytale wedding in Moab, Utah’s Red Cliffs Lodge, in front of 330 guests, including Janelle.
The Blast shared that the wedding was planned by Danielle Rothweiler and featured a boat cruise down the Colorado River.
The 'Cooking With Just Christine' Creator Shared Shots From Her Honeymoon
David and Christine set out on an adventurous honeymoon after their wedding ceremony, and the reality star was generous with the pictures from their trip. This trip seemed to be the second honeymoon destination as their first stop was at Disneyland.
The mom-of-six posed up with her husband at dinner inside a cabin with a breathtaking ocean view and the sky. Christine opted for a floral sleeveless blouse with super short shorts that showed off her white sneakers and styled her hair in a messy ponytail.
David kept it simple with a blue shirt, cream baggy shorts, dark brown loafers, and a delighted smile. He leaned on a big rock for the second slide in a silly pose and was flanked by a big frame painting in the background.
The last slide featured a picture of them sharing a warm embrace on the ship’s deck with a closer view of the waves and the sunset. Christine looked happy in a floor-length, sheer floral dress paired with black shoes as she leaned in for a forehead kiss from a dapper David, who opted for a patterned shirt, black pants, and black shoes combo.
