Kyle Richards Is 'Getting Along' With Mauricio Umansky After Family Photo

In the latest twist of their high-profile relationship drama, Kyle Richards and her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky  — or not so estranged after all — seem to have found common ground, at least for the holiday season.

Amid ongoing speculation about the status of their relationship following their separation, the pair have put on a united front, even appearing together in a heartwarming family photo. 

The couple, who publicly disclosed their separation in July, sparked intrigue when they were spotted together on a family outing at the famed L.A shopping center over the weekend.

The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star explained the situation by revealing their relationship was "good enough for The Grove," hinting at a newfound stability in their dynamic.

Richards confirmed that their recent outing showcased their amicable relationship, emphasizing that they were indeed "getting along." Additionally, she disclosed to TMZ outside Beverly Glen Deli on Monday their intention to spend Christmas together as a united family.

However, she quickly clarified that this did not signify a swift reconciliation by mentioning they were "just taking everything a day at a time."   

The rollercoaster journey of the socialite and Umansky's relationship hit the headlines when she criticized his interactions with his "DWTS" co-star Emma Slater and even referred to their separation as a "straight-up divorce." 

Their outing will not be the first time the duo has presented a united front despite their publicized conflicts. Recently, they were captured in a heartwarming family photo shared by their daughter, Alexia, on Instagram.

The family exuded holiday cheer in the snapshot as they shopped for festive decorations. Richards looked effortlessly chic in jeans and a brown jacket, accentuated with boots and a stylish black handbag. On the other hand, Umansky opted for a classic all-black ensemble with white sneakers.

Although the image presented a picturesque family moment, the current state of their relationship remains uncertain, seeing as they have been spotted attending separate therapy sessions. 

Insiders have revealed that the TV personality and her former beau are not actively addressing the issues that led to their separation and desire for space to explore other people. 

According to sources close to the duo, "Look, they may get back together, but they may not. They just don't know right now. They will decide at some point whether they stay married, but not now." 

Umansky also shed light on their journey and hinted at upcoming drama in their relationship on the reality show, acknowledging the challenging aspects they are navigating. 

The 53-year-old expressed enduring love for Richards, stating, "We've been married for 27 years, 26 amazing years. Kyle is my best friend; she's an amazing human. I love her… And marriages go through difficult times, sometimes, and that's what we're dealing with right now."

In October, the 54-year-old peeled back the layers of her unexpected split from her husband, disclosing intimate details of their separation. In a candid conversation on "Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen," the mother-of-one revealed that she was the initiator of the divorce process, countering assumptions about a mutual decision. 

When questioned by the host about the emotional aftermath of their separation, Richards shared, "When the news first came out, it was really, really devastating." She noted that the kids were in tears and even turned their phones off. 

The "Escape to Witch Mountain" actress also pointed out that despite the initial turbulence, the family had found stability and happiness once again. Grateful for her resilient children, whom she called her "best friends," Richards praised their strength in navigating the challenges.

The interview also delved deeper into the logistics of Richards and Umansky's post-separation living arrangement. "The Watcher in the Woods" actress unveiled that they still share a residence but occupy separate bedrooms. 

She explained her decision with a touch of humor, stating, "I let him stay in the primary bedroom 'cause it's very masculine, and the upstairs floor's like the glam, and there's like, a bed. And I was like, 'What am I going to do? Put him in a room with flowers and pink and velvet? No."
