Viral TikToker Keith Lee Named One Of Forbes Under 30 Class Of 2024!

The wildly popular TikTok food reviewer was recently named one of Forbes Under 30 Class of 2024!

Forbes released its 13th annual Under 30 List for the Class of 2024 on Monday, recognizing 600 leaders in 20 different industries.

"This is one of the most diverse and ambitious Under 30 classes to date, and particularly in terms of the scope of their work and impact of their leadership," said Kristin Stoller, Senior Editor of Forbes Under 30. "The large majority are founders or cofounders of a company, but creators and performers are also making their mark as they build their brands beyond traditional artistic scopes."

Lee, popular on TikTok for his honest food reviews that help bring slow food establishments back to life and thriving, was named one of the leaders in the Food & Drink category, judged by Ayesha Curry, Maya French, Randall Lane, and Lee Schrager.

Lee's Forbes profile reads, "For the past year, Keith Lee's viral food reviews have helped hundreds of local restaurants around the country increase sales and social media fame. The former professional fighter only takes money and brand deals from 'big brands' that can afford it, he says, like Chipotle, Pepsi, and Hyundai. Lee, a 27-year-old father of two, has amassed nearly 15 million followers on TikTok alone, and his food reviews have collected 630 million likes."

Lee quickly made a name for himself on the popular social media app with his honest food reviews. He started reviewing food establishments in his hometown of Las Vegas and recently took his show on the road visiting other cities such as Atlanta and Houston.

With more than 15 million followers on TikTok and another 1.4 million on Instagram, each of his food review videos quickly went viral.

The most recent video Lee shared on TikTok is a review of Houston restaurant Puddery. Shared only a few hours ago, the video has already received more than 4.1 million views and nearly 9,000 comments.

Followers of Lee know he's not big into sweets, but the Puddery won him over. At the end of the video, viewers get to see Lee go into the Puddery to talk to the owner about how amazing the food is and tip her $2,000.

One follower pointed out how fast things are changing for the business after Lee's review. "Keith, have you ever gone into a restaurant's profile and refreshed their followers? Puddery's followers are growing by 200 every 30 seconds," the viewer wrote in the video's comments.

"I can’t wait to see the Keith Lee effect on this one," wrote another.

The Forbes Under 30 Class of 2024 includes 20 different categories: social impact, social media, sports, music, venture capital, Hollywood and entertainment, games, education, art and style, consumer tech, food and drink, manufacturing and industry, marketing and advertising, retail and e-commerce, science, enterprise tech, healthcare, energy, finance, and media.

The people chosen for the list are all making waves in their industry and are under the age of 30. The numbers don't lie - total funding raised by Under the 30s is over $3.6 billion, with the social media following of the Under 30s being upwards of 780 million. The youngest person on the list is 15 years old, with the average age being 27.
