Sean "Diddy" Combs is no longer the chairman of Revolt. The music mogul has stepped down from the position in the wake of recent sexual lawsuits against him.

One of the lawsuits, filed by a former signee of his music label, was settled out of court for an undisclosed fee. Meanwhile, a rep for Diddy has stated that the other lawsuits were based on "fabricated" claims and were intended to rip off the hip-hop legend.

According to a report, Diddy has relinquished his position as chairman of Revolt, a digital cable television network specializing in music, which he founded in 2013. Revolt is recognized for popular shows such as "State of the Culture" and "Revolt Black News."

The announcement follows a recent sexual assault lawsuit filed against Diddy by R&B singer Cassie, also known as Casandra Ventura. Cassie was previously signed to Diddy's record label, Bad Boy, and rose to fame under the music company.

Meanwhile, the reasons behind Diddy's decision remain unclear, as he has not publicly addressed the matter. Speculation suggests that he may be taking time to address the repercussions of Cassie's case, which was recently settled out of court. Additionally, it is possible that the company's board of directors advised him to make this decision.

As reported by The Blast, Cassie had filed a 35-page complaint in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. In this document, she outlined the purported incidents of physical assaults, sexual abuse, and coercive control tactics she suffered under Diddy.

One of the incidents she spoke about in the lawsuit reportedly occurred during Paris Fashion Week in 2011. She claimed Diddy had discovered emails between her and musician Kid Cudi, and in a fit of anger, he lunged at her with a manual corkscrew. Despite managing to escape and seek refuge at Cudi's residence, she was allegedly compelled to return by a representative of Diddy.

Contrary to expectations of a protracted legal dispute, many were taken aback when Cassie abruptly opted to withdraw the case just a day after filing, choosing instead to reach a settlement with Diddy.

Subsequently, Diddy released a statement, saying that they had "decided to resolve this matter amicably," per The Blast. His statement was followed up by another from his lawyer, Ben Brafman, to clarify any misconceptions that the music mogul was guilty of the allegations.

The attorney said, "Just so we're clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing. Mr. Combs' decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims. He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best."

Cassie also put out a statement explaining why she wouldn't be moving forward with the case. She said, "I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans, and lawyers for their unwavering support."

Despite reaching a settlement with Cassie, Diddy's troubles are far from over. The music mogul is currently facing two other lawsuits from women he might have interacted with in the past.

One of them, known as Joi Dickerson-Neal, claimed in her suit that Diddy "intentionally drugged" her, sexually assaulted her, recorded it on video, and shared the tape with others when she attended a dinner with him after appearing in one of his music videos.

Another individual, who is currently anonymous, also claimed that she was raped by Diddy and singer Aaron Hall at the latter's apartment sometime between 1990 and 1991.

In the meantime, both claims from the ladies have been blasted as "fabricated" by a spokesperson from Diddy. The spokesperson also stated that it was "nothing but a money grab" because of Diddy's fame and success.
