David Schwimmer has posted on social media for the first time in one month, however, it was not about Matthew Perry.

The 'Friends' star, known for his role as Ross Gellar, attended Perry's funeral six days after the 54-year-old Chandler Bing actor was found in his hot tub, unresponsive. Other 'Friends' co-stars, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow, were also seen at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills neighborhood.

David Schwimmer has not posted to Instagram since October 11, which was a post on the ongoing Israel-Hamas war. He posted approximately two and a half weeks before police found his 'Friends' co-star, Matthew Perry, unresponsive in his hot tub at his home.

Now, for the first time in four weeks, Schwimmer has posted to his Instagram Stories, however it was not about Matthew Perry, and, instead, it was to address the ongoing Israel-Hamas war.

"One month ago today over 1,400 men, women, and children were massacred by Hamas in their homes, in the streets, and at a Music Festival," Schwimmer wrote in orange font on his Story. "Over 240 people, including babies and the elderly, are still being held hostage," he added.

As previously stated, this is not the first time Schwimmer has spoken out on the war, as his last Instagram post on October 11 stated, "Saturday was the largest mass murder of Jews in a single day since the Holocaust."

"The rape, torture, kidnapping, and killing of so many Israeli civilians - including children, the elderly and infants - is an atrocity."

Although Schwimmer has yet to address Matthew Perry's death individually he did release a joint statement with the other 'Friends' co-stars days after Perry's passing. He also was seen in public two days after Perry's passing, as he stepped out of his Manhattan home wearing a baseball cap and a medical mask that covered most of his face.

As we reported, police responded to a 911 call on October 28 to assist with a possible ‘water rescue’ at Matthew Perry’s Pacific Palisades home. When the first responders arrived, they reportedly found the 54-year-old “Friends” actor in his hot tub, unresponsive.

Perry is believed to have drowned, but an autopsy and toxicology reports will be able to answer more questions about his true cause of death.

Although none of the ‘Friends’ cast have spoken out individually, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer did release a joint statement following Perry’s death.

“We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family,” their joint statement began. “There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss.”

“In time we will say more, as and when we are able,” the statement from the “Friends” continued. “For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.”
