Shar Jackson Claims Britney Spears KNEW She Was Pregnant With Kevin Federline’s Baby

In 2004, Shar Jackson claimed that Britney Spears was sitting outside a hospital in a blacked-out SUV while her boyfriend, Kevin Federline, went inside the hospital to witness the birth of his second child, Kaleb.

In an excerpt from “The Woman In Me,” Britney insists that she was “clueless” that K-Fed had one child and another one on the way when the two started dating in 2004. “I was living in a bubble and I didn’t have a lot of good, close friends to confide in and get advice from. I had no idea until after we’d been together for a while and someone told me, ‘You know he has a new baby, right?’” she wrote in her memoir.

However, Shar, 46, has a different recollection of events. “’I felt betrayed and crushed. I thought, ‘How could you do something like that?” she recalled, via the Daily Mail. She went on to say that the former couple actually had three children when Kevin met Britney. In addition to their daughter, Kora, Kevin was also a stepfather to two of her eldest children.

“One on the way and we were living in a six-bedroom house in Orange County, California. One day, when I had bad morning sickness and was about six months pregnant, Kevin had an audition for a Coke commercial or something in LA… then I didn’t hear from him for three days,” she recalled.

“I later found out they had met at a club on the first night when he went out with his friends. I felt angry and betrayed and I went numb. I went onto autopilot,” she wrote, saying that Britney, now 41, and Kevin, now 45, “did a number” on her by keeping their romance a secret, especially since she had already met Britney during the time that she was dating Justin Timberlake, from 1999 to 2002.

“I met Britney way before Kevin got with her. We ran in the same circles and I was good friends with the guys from NSYNC,” she recalled. “I thought she was cute and adorable. I wouldn’t say Britney and I ever became close but we were always respectful and cordial to each other.”

As for her own romance with Kevin, Shar explained, “We moved in together after about a year and got engaged right after our daughter Kori was born,” adding, “I was very much in love. Not only was he gorgeous but he took my two older kids under his wing. I was like, ‘Oh my God, he’s perfect.’”

However, even after she learned that Kevin was stepping out with Britney, she tried to salvage the relationship. “We didn’t break up; we agreed to figure it out. Then he told me he had booked a commercial and needed to go and shoot it overseas,” she recalled, noting that she later saw photos of him and Britney together on a beach pop up in tabloids.

She said she called him up and recalled telling him, “I need to know if you are going to be in the kids’ lives or not, because it’s not a part-time gig. If you don’t want that responsibility, tell me now so we can cut ties completely.” Shar went on to say, “I didn’t care about Britney at that point. It wasn’t about her. I felt betrayed and crushed. I thought: ‘How could you do something like that?’”

Kevin stayed with Britney and the two became engaged in July 2004, only days after Shar gave birth to Kaleb. In September, K-Fed and Britney got married and welcomed two sons of their own: Sean Preston, now 18, and Jayden James, now 17. However, they separated in 2006 and finalized their divorce the following year.

Even though Kevin now lives in Hawaii with his wife Victoria, Shar insists that she and Kevin are still close friends. She also insists that she holds no ill will toward Britney Spears.

“I think her relationship with Kevin was a fantasy for both of them. To me, anything built on a rocky foundation isn’t going to last and they started rocky because he was in a relationship. I never hated Kevin because if you really love someone you can’t hate them,” she said.

As for her own relationship with Kevin, in her memoir, Britney wrote, “When I married Kevin, I meant it with all my heart.” However, she said that he became “enthralled by the fame and power,” which led to the end of their relationship. “Again and again in my life, I’ve seen fame and money ruin people,” she wrote. “And I saw it happen with Kevin in slow motion.”
