Dillon Danis Back Tracks On THIS Promise To Logan Paul

Dillon Danis may be a great fighter, but he is not that good with promises.

The professional wrestler quickly reversed a mouthwatering deal he had excitedly struck with fellow wrestler Logan Paul before their match on Saturday, October 14. Paul emerged as the winner in the much-anticipated fight as Danis suffered a shocking defeat via disqualification.

Danis appeared on British TV host Piers Morgan's show "Piers Morgan Uncensored" after his epic defeat at the hands of Paul. However, right before the match, Danis wagered his portion of the earnings on the outcome of the star-studded fight, saying, "I bet I knock you out."

Morgan promptly pulled out a large blank check charging Danis to fulfill his end of the bargain, which also prompted Danis to disclose that he was paid over $1 million for the fight.

In the short clip that appeared of X (formerly Twitter), Danis craftily wiggled his way out of filling the blank spaces on the check by reminding Morgan that an ongoing appeal may change the tides. In his words:

“We are making an appeal, though. It might actually be a win for me because he punched me on the ground.”

The YouTuber's comments made social media frenzy as comments appeared under Morgan's X page. One follower wrote, "A bet is a bet. Don't try & get out of it over a technicality! You'll gain a lot more respect by handing your purse over."

A commenter who seemed familiar with the wrestler wrote, "Nah, Dillon won't go through with it! He'll probably appeal the promise." Another user was just very curious to see if "Dillon Danis keeps his word." While the fourth fan simply praised Dillon for his potential.

The match was filled with so many highlights, including one where Paul's security, alongside his brother Jake Paul, rushed to the ringside to protect him. Despite Paul winning due to Dillon's disqualification, the 28-year-old landed some impressive punches on the New Jersey-born wrestler, who trashed talk for most part of the match.

At the end of the fourth and final round, Danis handed in 9 punches, a lot lower than Paul's mindblowing 82 punches.

Paul did not forget to extend his appreciation to his supportive fiancee, who was unfortunately absent at the match. In his romantic tribute to Nina Agdal, which has now gone viral on social media, an exhausted Paul said:

"A battle like this is not easy; he is a true demon, a true coward. Now, I want to give thanks to the most important woman in my life, next to my mother, of course! My beautiful fiancée!"

He continued with the accolades as his team quietly moved his mother to the back and let Adgal's name enjoy the spotlight, "Wherever she is, baby, I love you so much. You're my heart and soul. I can't wait to start a family with you. Live the rest of my life with you."

He concluded his tribute by encouraging his fans who are going through tough times. In his words, "These past two months haven't been easy. Sometimes, the devil will make its way into your life."

Per The Blast, Paul's reference to the devil may be connected to Dillion's nasty move of uploading Agdal's explicit pictures on social media.

The move caused the Danish model to file a lawsuit against Danis and accused him of "cyber harassment and bullying." The model claimed that Dillion unlawfully shared "nonconsensual, sexually explicit photographs of her on the internet without her consent."

Following her lawsuit, a judge granted a restraining order that prohibits Dillion from contacting or coming within 100 yards of Agdal. Sources have also suggested that it may be the reason why she was absent at the main event.

Agdal and Paul's relationship began in 2022 and became public in December 2022. However, in July 2023, the pair announced their engagement. The intimate proposal happened in Lake Como in Italy; however, a wedding date is yet to be announced by the power couple.
