Kailyn Lowry Is Eating And Playing With Her Placenta Again!

Just when people thought Kailyn Lowry's big reveal was that she welcomed baby number five secretly, only to find out that's not the most shocking thing the "Teen Mom" alum has done recently.

Lowry took to Instagram to reveal what she's cooking up in her home kitchen, and it's not for the faint of heart.

Lowry, 31, recently admitted that all the speculation about a secret fifth baby was true, but to top that news off, she also shared what she's done with the placenta after the baby's birth.

A recent Instagram post reveals Lowry used the afterbirth organ to create some interesting art and then blended it up to consume in a smoothie. Yes, you read that right. She played with the placenta and then blended it up, stuck a straw in it and took photos of it before likely consuming it off camera.

Captioned, "This was the second time I got to work with @lancasterplacentaco," the carousel of photos shows off the unique artwork, a video of the smoothie blending, and a photo of the finished product with a straw for good measure. Lowry even tagged the Pennsylvania based placenta encapsulation company in her caption.

In addition to demonstrating her placenta smoothie making skills, she also highlighted the artwork she and partner, Elijah Scott, made on the kitchen counter with the placenta.

Fan reactions were mixed in the comment section of the post. Some felt it was a totally normal thing to do and others were disgusted and confused.

"In the kitchen? Playing with organs? Where you will eat at? Yuck as f---," one person wrote. Another added, "Why would you post this. I feel nauseous now."

Other followers commented about how normal this really is, and how they can't believe that there are women who are grossed out by this.

"Why is everyone so triggered????" one person asked. Another said, "How are so many women offended by a placenta? It's not my type of thing but who cares. Plus the caption/hashtags has placenta written multiple times."

One follower shared that she did something similar writing, "So cool! My midwives took mine home and did all this for me. I still have the heart shaped cord stump on my shelf because I don’t know what to do with it. ?"

"The blood on the counter I am never eating at other people's houses ever again," one follower pointed out.

The "Teen Mom" alum only recently revealed that she secretly gave birth to a fifth boy last year. Lowry is mom to Isaac, 13, with ex Jo Rivera, Lincoln, 9, with ex Javi Marroquin, Lux, 6, and Creed, 3, with ex Chris Lopez, and new baby Rio with boyfriend Elijah Scott.

Rumors were swirling about Lowry being pregnant last year but until last week, she kept quiet on the subject.

"I wanted to be able to tell my own story on my own terms and kind of share what information I wanted to share instead of being within a contractual obligation or storyline," Lowry told PEOPLE after the news broke on last week's episode of her "Barely Famous" podcast.

"I feel like it was ripped out from under me time and time again. I kind of feel like my hands are tied. People are announcing it for me and so, at this point, I might as well just talk about it. At this point, I can at least try to do it my way."
