Madonna Buys Out Manchester Hotel As Tour Dress Rehearsals Commence

As the Queen of Pop gears up for her highly anticipated tour, Madonna is already proofing she is not about small things!

The music legend has reportedly bought out an entire hotel in Manchester, transforming it into a hub of creativity and preparation for what promises to be an unforgettable spectacle in the music world.

After a health scare that landed her in ICU and delayed the schedule, the "Like A Virgin" singer is set to perform for five nights at London's O2 Arena. Opting for extravagance, she booked the entire Stock Exchange Hotel. 

The luxurious five-star hotel is in the heart of central Manchester, offering 40 rooms with rates soaring up to £500 per night. The property is co-owned by former Manchester United footballer Gary Neville and his teammate Ryan Giggs. 

The "True Blue" artist reportedly touched down in the UK last week and brought along three vans stuffed with her essentials, including three Peloton exercise bikes to maintain her fitness.

According to an insider for The Sun, the songwriter is doing more than booking entire hotels in preparation for the tour; she is also renting out "major venues for rehearsals for several days." As the source put it, "You don't get to be known as the Queen of Pop without doing it properly, which is exactly what this is." 

However, even with her grand entrance, Madonna seems to be keeping a relatively low profile. This did not stop her from showing her excitement on her Instagram page by sharing a ten-slide carousel of herself striking various poses. 

The post, captioned, "Now Loading……… ❤️ #madonnacelebrationtour," saw the "Hung Up" singer looking sultrily at the camera. The actress also included screenshots of comments by fans expressing their excitement for the tour. 

One of the messages was from someone who wrote, "OMG. Yes. Having seen every tour since 1990, I am more than ready for this. Time to stand up and pay attention to the original groundbreaker. There is no other. @madonna ❤️." 

The dancer has continued to demonstrate her resilience as she gears up for a whirlwind tour across Europe before heading back to the US for the North American leg of the Celebration. In a bold move, she promptly returned to rehearsals and reportedly selected the Nassau Coliseum in New York as her rehearsal venue, securing it for two months.

Additionally, insiders had previously shared that Madonna has discreetly locked down a venue in the UK for rehearsals leading up to her opening night at London's O2 Arena on October 14th. 

Proving her party prowess, even fresh out of the hospital, Madonna pulled out all the stops to celebrate her son David Banda's 18th birthday. The author orchestrated an epic bash brimming with dancing, laughter, and affection and generously shared a series of video clips from the festivities on her Instagram. 

Capturing the evident joy and lively spirit of the event, the "La Isla Bonita" artist started the clip by showcasing her bag adorned with sparkling diamond letters spelling out "Thief" before saying, "Happy birthday, David Banda, you stole my heart." 

The birthday boy followed suit, looking sharp in a white suit with sleek black lapels and a coordinating bow tie. His hair styled in cornrows, he sent a kiss to the camera and then unleashed a gravity-defying dance move on the floor.

The focus shifted to Madonna, who proved she could still groove with the best of them, undeterred by her recent hospital stint. Sandwiched between fellow revelers, the actress held onto the person before her, swaying to the infectious rhythm.

Draped in a stylish, long-sleeved black coat and adorned with diamond-studded sunglasses, the businesswoman's caption for the moment exuded maternal pride as she expressed her love for her son, writing, "Happy 18th Birthday David Banda! Tribal Name -Senzangakhona- . Descendant of the Ngoni Tribe.!"

The "Desperately Seeking Susan" actress marveled at the passage of nearly 18 years since their first encounter at the Home of Hope Orphanage in Mchinji. She then reflected on the meaning of his name, "Speak the truth," and envisioned it as an ideal moniker for an artist.
