Madonna has triumphantly returned to the stage!

The pop icon, who has been out of action following a hospitalization nearly two months ago, has reportedly resumed rehearsals for her upcoming Celebration Tour. However, due to a delay caused by the rock band Blink-182's concert, Madonna has been put in a race against time, giving her just a short period to get ready before the show starts.

Despite worries concerning her well-being after her brief hospitalization, Madonna proved her strength by returning to rehearsals. To that end, she has reportedly chosen the Nassau Coliseum in New York as her rehearsal location, reserving it for two months.

According to music insiders, who spoke to The Sun, she has also secured a secret venue in the United Kingdom for rehearsals ahead of her opening night at the O2 Arena, London on October 14th. In the words of one source:

"She is very much still in recovery, but Madonna has been chomping at the bit to get back to rehearsals. Not only has she hired the Coliseum in New York, but she's also hired out a second venue in London for the final week of dress rehearsals."

The insider added that even though the Queen of Pop preferred having the last week of rehearsals in the same venue where her tour starts, Blink-182's Comeback Gigs at the O2 will only allow her team to access the location the day before her show.

This scheduling conflict leaves Madonna, a known perfectionist, with less than 48 hours to fine-tune her performance before getting the boot. Before this update, the "4 Minutes" hitmaker had expressed gratitude to her angels for allowing her to continue her work while acknowledging her fortune in being alive.

As previously mentioned, the talented singer-songwriter had been admitted into the intensive care unit for a "serious bacterial infection" in June amid rigorous rehearsals for her tour.

Amid the rising conversations regarding her health, one source alleged that the "Like a Prayer" performer had neglected the tell-tale signs of an impending illness. They stated:

"She ignored some symptoms of illness for quite a while because she thought they would go away. But she didn't want to take time away from rehearsals."

They further declared that the award-winning superstar "was run down and not feeling 100 percent for a while in anticipation of her tour," adding that she was "relentless" in her goal to be "the best," "wow" her audience, and "do what others before her have not done."

As reported by The Blast, a second music insider also claimed that the "Body of Evidence" actress' long-standing busy schedule had stopped her from "taking care of herself." At the same time, she continued to "push herself beyond the limit."

Last month, The Blast reported that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame honoree marked the 40th anniversary of her eponymous debut album by dancing. To that end, she had festively taken to Instagram to post a video of herself moving to her hit 1983 song, "Lucky Star."

The clip showed the mother-of-six looking as stunning as ever as she captured herself in the bathroom as the iconic track from her "Madonna" album played in the background. For the quick dance session, the 64-year-old artist donned an all-black outfit comprising a sleeveless, bustier-inspired crop top over a mesh t-shirt and cargo pants.

The bust-accentuating top featured a corset-like design with hook-and-eye closures at the back, emphasizing the entertainer's slender waist. Adding to her ensemble, Madonna sported chic gold sunglasses, matching gold earrings, and a red string secured around her wrist.

As for her dancing, the Grammy Awards winner confidently turned her back to the camera, placing her hands on her waist and swaying her hips to the rhythm. With a graceful twirl, the "Dick Tracy" star playfully approached the camera, mixing sultry hip movements into her dance routine.

Madonna, who also moved closer to the camera before pulling down her sunglasses to wink and blow a kiss at viewers in the footage, wrote in the caption:

"To be able to move my body and dance just a little bit makes me feel like the Luckiest Star in the world! Thank you to all of my fans and friends! You must be my lucky stars too! And Happy 40th Birthday to my very. First Album."
