Actress Jamie Lynn Spears and her professional dance partner Alan Bersten were eliminated from "Dancing With The Stars" in the second week of the competition.

Many fans were shocked to see the "Zoey 101" star eliminated so early, especially when Britney Spears' ex Kevin Federline ventured that she could win the whole competition earlier that same day.

On Tuesday night, the “Sweet Magnolias” actress took to Instagram to share a whole carousel that contained photos from her last week of training for her final performance. In the caption, she began with a message to her dance partner, Alan Bersten, who she referred to as her “best friend.”

“Alan, you’re the absolute best friend and partner that anyone could ever ask for. I got to raise some money for my #SAGAFTRA community and meet some of the most amazing ppl, and That’s a win by all accounts in what I set out to do. Softball moms are hot,” she wrote.

“Yalllllll, I promise I hear and see all the many wonderfully passionate ppl who are not happy with the way things fell tonight, and I appreciate the tremendous amount love and support, but this was an amazing experience, and I’m very happy to have been a part of it, and soooo excited to see all the fabulous contestants and their partners continue to KILL it each week!!!!!” she added.

Famous friends were quick to support her despite her quick exit. JoAnna Garcia Swisher commented, “So proud of you! Your willingness to open yourself up to new things that challenge you is amazing to watch and an unbelievable example for your girls (and mine!) to see…and I know that everything you do is for Maddie and Ivey! PS you were amazing and absolutely should still be in this competition.”

Gymnast Nastia Liukin simply wrote, “Proud of you.” Netflix reality star, “Too Hot To Handle” alum, and fellow “Dancing With The Stars” contestant Harry Jowsey wrote, “You did so well. We are gonna miss you” along with a red heart emoji. Pasha Pashkov assured her “You did amazing tonight” while Justin Sylvester added, “You were amazing! You should be so proud of yourself!”

Susan Seale wrote, “You were adorable… and so real and down to earth. Love your style and attitude. Proud aunt!” Justine Salisbury added, “Sending you so much love! I was so bummed tonight. But do not beat yourself up or be hard on yourself for getting eliminated. Please check your DMs I sent when you have time. Always love hearing from you and reading your paragraphs!”

On Tuesday night, Alan Bersten took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to react to his elimination with a single word: “D---.” A “Dancing With The Stars” fan account known as The DWTS Report was one of the first to comment, writing, “Everything happens for a reason. Keep your head up. We love you.”

Another “DWTS” fan commented, “Sending you so much love. Always so proud of you. You pour so much into every season, and every partner, and it doesn’t go unnoticed. We love you SO much! Your time will come again!!”

“We love you so much. We’re getting you that second Mirrorball next season,” another follower wrote, referring to the “DWTS” trophy. “So proud of you regardless! Keep your head up. You still crushed it even though the season was cut short,” a third fan chimed in. “Keep your head up!!! You did great!!! Always a fan of you!!!” another follower wrote.

“I will forever be an Alan and Jamie Lynn fan! I voted so many times. I will miss you guys,” another fan shared. “Alan sad to see you go. But you did the best you could as a pro and a teacher.
