Sources close to the pair suggest that the rapper's decision to divorce is rooted in a clash of family values and expectations.

According to Entertainment Tonight, insiders privy to the couple's private struggles shared that the divergence in family values and expectations became a significant point of contention, ultimately leading to "irreconcilable differences" between them. Jeezy and Mai come from diverse backgrounds, bringing unique cultural perspectives and familial expectations into their union.

"They had different views, and each felt like their needs weren't being completely met," the source told the news outlet.
