Swifties Attack Travis Kelce's Ex On Social Media For Recent Activity

Maya Benberry dated the Kansas City Chiefs player for a few months in 2016 after winning his E! reality dating show, “Catching Kelce.”

Now, many fans are noticing that Benberry referenced Taylor Swift in her latest Instagram post.

Benberry shared the above photo to Instagram, along with the caption, "entering my soft girl era ✨," referencing Taylor Swift's viral "era" tour, as well as all of the other captions and trends mentioning the 'Swift Era'.

Now, what's interesting is the last time Benberry posted on Instagram was six weeks ago, which was around the same time it was rumored that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift were an item.

But the Taylor Swift reference isn't exactly what Swifties are mad about.. Apparently Benberry liked a comment that stated the "Bad Blood" singer was a 5 out of 10.

Fans instantly attacked Benberry on the post, as one fan commented, "You dated him 2017. People change and move on. Maybe you should too?."

Another commented, "a girl’s girl? be serious you were liking posts that were calling taylor ugly not even 48 hours ago. move on it’s been seven years."

While one said something similar, commenting, "a girls’ girl won't like a comment about how taylor is a '5'."

"Bitter unknown woman ???," another wrote.

These comments on Benberry's post come just two days after “Love Story” singer Taylor Swift was spotted hanging out with Donna Kelce, the mother of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, at Arrowhead Stadium for the game against the Chicago Bears. The two have been chatting it up the entire fun, but social media exploded after Swift went nuts for Kelce following his touchdown.

Following Chief’s win against the Bears, Kelce and Swift were spotted leaving Arrowhead Stadium together. Although they were not hand in hand, Swift was clearly on cloud nine as she was seen smiling from ear to ear and laughing on her way out. The two also reportedly grabbed dinner together in an intimate setting.

Others continued to comment on Benberry's photo, writing things such as "You know who's a mogul? Taylor Swift. It ain't you sweetie ??" and "This girl is salty over a guy she dated YEARS ago??? hilarious lmao. She just wants the 15 minutes of fame ig?."

Benberry recently came out and warned Taylor Swift that “the man [she] knew him to be when [they] dated” is an unfaithful one.

“Taylor [Swift] seems like such a fun girl with a beautiful spirit, so I wish her the best of luck, but I wouldn’t be a girls’ girl if I didn’t advise her to be smart!” Benberry, 31, told DailyMail. “I’m sure by now she has mastered the ability to see who is there for her — and who is just using her.”

She added, “Only time will tell, but like the saying always goes: Once a cheater, always a cheater.”

Benberry did not mention her cheating claims during the interview, though she previously seemed to accuse Kelce of cheating on her with his next girlfriend, Kayla Nicole.

“When you and your ex broke up five months ago, but you find out via social media that he’s supposedly been in another relationship for 6…” she wrote in a since-deleted Tweet, per Page Six.
