Al Pacino doesn't seem to be going down without a fight!
Weeks after The Blast broke the news that the veteran actor's girlfriend Noor Alfallah filed for physical custody of their 3-month son, "The Devil's Advocate" star is gearing up to retaliate and has hired the best of the best of to help him.
Al Pacino Hires Top California Lawyer In Custody Battle Case
According to new documents, Pacino has requested the service of attorney Adam Philip Lipsic to help him in his legal battle against Alfallah. The 83-year-old Hollywood icon has already made Lipsic, his lawyer, accept service of the legal paperwork, per Radar Online. As a result, he can't at any time be publicly served papers by a process server, avoiding embarrassment.
Leipsic is a Partner at Hersh Mannis LLP in Beverly Hills, where he became a partner in 2014. His bio reads:
"Mr. Lipsic's practice is devoted exclusively to family law, including a wide range of domestic matters such as divorce, dissolutions of same-sex domestic partnerships, custody, premarital and postnuptial agreements, and parentage. He is equally comfortable litigating a case to its completion as guiding a client to a negotiated settlement agreement, and he frequently deals with highly complex and sophisticated family law matters."
It also says the Certified Family Law Specialist has had a wide range of VIP clients, from "famous entertainers and athletes to corporate and entertainment executives."
Alfallah Wants To Determine "Parental Relationship" For Their Son
As we previously reported, Alfallah demanded full physical custody of their son, Roman Alfallah Pacino, while giving the Academy Award winner joint legal control and "reasonable visits." Pacino can make significant decisions like schooling, medical treatment, and religion.
The 29-year-old's move can be seen as a way for her to start earning child support from the actor, who has a net worth of $120 million. It is not sure exactly what amount the child support would be as Alfallah hasn't made an official request, but Pacino will undoubtedly cough out a lot of money.
"The court may make orders for support of the children and issue an earnings assignment without further notice to either party," an excerpt of the document read.
The mother-of-one also wants the award-winning star to pay for any attorney fees or costs associated with this case, as for rumors that Pacino isn't the actual dad of Roman, the young producer, who once dated Mick Jagger, included a one-page called a "voluntary declaration of parentage" signed by both her and Pacino.
The declaration was executed six days after the baby was born and was signed by Pacino and a third-party witness. Alfallah also noted that she had "sexual intercourse" with the father of her son, indirectly shutting the naysayers.
Alfallah and Pacino welcomed their bundle of joy— the fourth for the "Godfather" actor — in June, as seen in the birth certificate exclusively obtained by The Blast.
Their son's full name is Roman Alfallah Pacino, with his middle name paying tribute to his mother's last name. The little one was born on June 6, 2023, at Cedar's Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles at 1:41 a.m.
Another interesting detail revealed in the certificate is that Alfallah OBGYN was Thais Aliabadi in Beverly Hills. Aliabadi is famous for being the Kardashians' doctor and featured in "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" meeting with Khloe Kardashian.
Before the now-estranged couple welcomed their son, reports claimed the two-time Emmy award winner ensured he was responsible for conceiving Roman. Pacino initially believed he couldn't be accountable for Alfallah's pregnancy due to undisclosed medical issues.
As a result, he asked for a paternity test, and Alfallah took no offense, immediately providing him with one that confirmed him as Roman's father. It is not particularly surprising that Pacino opted to be specific, given his baby mama's dating history.
Per reports, the University of Southern California alum has a history of dating older high-profile men. After dating Jagger, she got with Nicholas Berggruen and then Pacino. However, she claims she is from a wealthy Kuwaiti-American family.
She has some experience in the film industry, once serving as a producer on the 2019 short film "La Petite Mort" and an executive producer on the 2018 TV Short "Brosa Nostra."
