Alix Earle Denies Being Involved In Sophia Culpo, Braxton Berrios Split

TikTok star Alix Earle is insisting that she did not cause Sophia Culpo and Braxton Berrios to go their separate ways.
Although "The Culpo Sisters" star said that "betrayal" ended her relationship to the NFL star, the influencer is insisting that she had nothing to do with their split, despite the seemingly overlapping timelines between his two relationships.
Alix Earle Says It Was 'Triggering' To Be Blamed For Sophia Culpo, Braxton Berrios Split
On the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, the social media sensation known for her "Get Ready With Me" videos told Alex Cooper that she was not the reason that Sophia Culpo and Braxton Berrios split up.
She said that online comments calling her a "homewrecker" and a "mistress" were "triggering" to her and left her “bawling [her] eyes out” in front of friends after she read negative comments about herself online.
“I spent my childhood basically thinking that this is the worst thing you could do to another human,” she said, referencing her father Thomas 'TJ' Earle’s affair. “So why the f--- would I do that?”
She insisted that Sophia and Braxton "were not together" when she linked up with the Miami Dolphins wide receiver and blamed Sophia for starting the rumors that Braxton had been unfaithful.
“The ex-girlfriend had started posting things alluding to unfaithfulness in the relationship online, and I was seen hanging out with this guy,” Alix explained. “So everyone kind of just pointed fingers at me.”
After the accusations started, Alix said that she started acting "more psycho" than his ex and began demanding "receipts" from him "right away" to prove that he had not been cheating on Sophia.
“I was like, ‘There’s just no f–king way this happened,'” she continued. “I was checking everything. We have probably been over this 110 times because I was like, ‘If you did that to a person, obviously of course, you’ll probably do that to me, too.'”
Braxton Berrios Breaks Silence On Sophia Culpo Split
In a lengthy Instagram Story posted earlier this summer, the 27-year-old athlete said that their relationship was already over in January, although Sophia alleged that their relationship didn't end until the middle of February.
“I don’t want to start anything. I don’t want to fuel anything,” he began in the video, which was transcribed by Page Six. “I genuinely want all of this to be over and everybody to move on and do whatever makes them happy.”
“I was in a relationship for two years,” he explained, referring to Sophia. “It was a good relationship, it was a healthy one. And towards the end of it, we had conversations along the lines of we just weren’t working out. So when we split back in January, that’s why.”
Berrios claimed that the split “had nothing to do with anybody else.” He went on to say that their relationship “just didn’t work out and that’s okay.”
“It’s been very weird and sad to see kind of what’s gone on since then. I’ve been quiet because it’s totally out of character for me to talk about my private life, publicly," he added. "But I feel like it needed to be touched on now.”
Sophia Culpo Leaks Texts To Prove They Were Still Dating In February
After his Instagram Story, Sophia posted screenshots, obtained by TMZ, that appear to show that their relationship did not end until February.
On January 31, Sophia texts him, “It seems like you’ve contemplated the alternative though.” Braxton replies: “No I haven’t. Don’t read into that.”
“Ok so you want to be with me,” Sophia wrote, to which he replied, “Yes I want to be with you.”
In screenshots that are dated February 11, Sophia texts Braxton: “I really hope it doesn’t blow up any more but that’s not in my control. What will be will be. And okay just lmk.”
Braxton replies: “It won’t. And I’ll do everything in my power to make sure of it. Cause I don’t want to be associated with anything like that obviously. You don’t deserve that and frankly neither do I.”
On top of the screenshots, Sophia wrote, “The real timeline. We broke up after the Drake concert at Super Bowl weekend where he was seen making out with another girl. Not bitter, in fact I know this situation has been one of my biggest blessings. I wish everyone in this situation all the best, including myself which is why I’m here to share the truth so I can officially be done with all of this. All love.”
