Sophia Culpo Leaks Texts Claiming Braxton Berrios Is Lying About Split

Reality star Sophia Culpo is speaking out after her ex-boyfriend, Braxton Berrios, is rumored to have moved on with TikTok star Alix Earle.

Although "The Culpo Sisters" reality star first alleged that "betrayal" ended her relationship with the NFL star, Berrios took to his Instagram Stories to claim that there was no third party involved in the ending of their relationship.

However, the 26-year-old social media sensation is speaking out, claiming that Berrios may not be telling the whole truth about how their relationship ended.

In screenshots shared to social media and obtained by TMZ, Sophia seems to insinuate that Braxton is lying about how their relationship ended. She shared text messages she wrote to the Miami Dolphins wide receiver from January 31 and February 11, showing that the two still seemed to be together even though he claimed that the two had called it quits in January.

In screenshots that are dated February 11, Sophia texts Braxton: “I really hope it doesn’t blow up any more but that’s not in my control. What will be will be. And okay just lmk.”

Braxton replies: “It won’t. And I’ll do everything in my power to make sure of it. Cause I don’t want to be associated with anything like that obviously. You don’t deserve that and frankly neither do I.”

Another screenshot dated on January 31, Sophia says, “It seems like you’ve contemplated the alternative though.” Braxton replies: “No I haven’t. Don’t read into that.”

“Ok so you want to be with me,” Sophia writes, to which he replies, “Yes I want to be with you.” Sophia added a heart emoji to the comment before she wrote, “Ok back to serious talk.” He replied, “HAHAHA I’m going to the hurricanes bball game with rob in 30.”

Sophia wrote over the post, writing, “The real timeline. We broke up after the Drake concert at Super Bowl weekend where he was seen making out with another girl. Not bitter, in fact I know this situation has been one of my biggest blessings. I wish everyone in this situation all the best, including myself which is why I’m here to share the truth so I can officially be done with all of this. All love.”

In a lengthy Instagram Story posted on Tuesday, the 27-year-old athlete said that their relationship was already over in January, despite Sophia's texts proving the opposite. “I don’t want to start anything. I don’t want to fuel anything,” he began in the video, which was transcribed by Page Six. “I genuinely want all of this to be over and everybody to move on and do whatever makes them happy.”

“I was in a relationship for two years," he continued, referring to his relationship with Sophia. "It was a good relationship, it was a healthy one. And towards the end of it, we had conversations along the lines of we just weren’t working out. So when we split back in January, that’s why.”

Berrios claimed that, when they called it quits, it "had nothing to do with anybody else." He went on to say that their relationship "just didn't work out and that's okay."

He continued, “It’s been very weird and sad to see kind of what’s gone on since then. I’ve been quiet because it’s totally out of character for me to talk about my private life, publicly. But I feel like it needed to be touched on now.”

On Sunday, TikTok star Alix Earle shared a TikTok that featured her on vacation in the Hamptons. At the two-second mark, she can be seen sitting on the lap of a shirtless man. Although his face is not clearly visible in the video, fans were quick to identify him as Berrios.

Alix did not respond to any comments about the Berrios speculation. However, when one fan commented, "HARD LAUNCH. HARD LAUNCH," Alix replied, “We’re not even ‘dating’ but just hard for me to not share stuff w u guys, hahahaha.”

The two were first phtographed spending time together in Miami last month.
