Salma Hayek Is Allegedly Trying To Link Up Angelina Jolie With Billionaire Businessman

Salma Hayek is reportedly hoping to find her close pal, Angelina Jolie, a new beau.

Reports recently revealed that the actress has been making moves to match Jolie with a businessman for a serious relationship to end her string of casual affairs.

The two share a close relationship, which is said to be the reason why Hayek wants Jolie's love life to get back on track. Jolie was previously married to Brad Pitt, and the two are currently involved in a legal battle over their French winery.

According to Radar Online, Hayek is "hard at work" to get her close friend, Jolie, matched with a new beau.

Per reports, the "Eternal" actress only considers businessmen as eligible suitors for Jolie, as she herself is married to a French businessman and CEO of Kering, François-Henri Pinault.

"She's got her eye on a few eligible businessmen who would know how to handle dating one of the world's most famous women and is hard at working (sic) trying to set up Angie with dates," a source told the National Enquirer.

The insider went on to explain that the strong bond between their families inspires Hayek's efforts to set up Jolie with potential matches.

"Not only are Salma and Angie best friends, they also know each other's children," the insider continued about the actresses. "Salma doesn't just want to see Angie with a great man. She also wants to see Angie's children with a great father."

Hayek recently gushed about her close friendship with Jolie during her appearance at TIFF last Wednesday.

Hayek was at the event for the "El Sabor de la Navidad" screening, a Mexican dramedy that she co-produced with Jose Tamez.

"She's been very, very enriching in my life, in so many ways — as mothers, you know. Most of all, as artists," the producer gushed about Jolie while speaking with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet.

The actress added that their friendship "keeps growing" and that they have only gotten "closer and closer" as the years go by. "And it's just natural. It's just something that flows," Hayek stated.

The two previously worked together on the Marvel superhero film "The Eternals." They also collaborated on "Without Blood," an unreleased film directed by Jolie, while Hayek starred as a cast member.

Jolie was previously married to Brad Pitt from 2014 to 2016. Their divorce was finalized in 2019. The former couple have six children together: Maddox, Pax, Zahara (adopted), Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne (biological).

Jolie hasn't been in a committed relationship leading to marriage since her split from her "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" co-star. Instead, she has casually dated a few younger men over the years.

"She gets a thrill out of arranging to meet up for an afternoon tryst," a source told Rader Online in December 2022.

The source added, "She's very alpha about the whole thing. She makes the guys sign NDAs, arranges the hotel suites — never under her own name — and she sets the time and never, ever spends the night."

Despite Jolie and Pitt being separated for years, the duo are still in court regarding their $164 million French winery.

In February 2022, Pitt filed a lawsuit against Jolie when she sold her business stake to a third-party company called Stoli, allegedly run by Russian oligarch Yuri Shefler.

In the legal documents, he argued that she had violated their agreement about not selling each other's stake without giving themselves notice. The actor also accused Stoli and Shefler of attempting a hostile takeover and sought to invalidate Jolie's sale.

In response, Jolie filed a countersuit. She also denied the existence of a written agreement preventing her from selling without Pitt's approval.

Last month, she presented documents to assist her case, including an email in which she informed Pitt of her desire to exit the wine business.
