Sam Asghari Flexes His Muscles In The Gym Amid Britney Spears Divorce

ActorSam Asghari is training hard amid his divorce from pop star Britney Spears.

On Friday night, the “Toxic” singer went on a posting spree before she deactivated her Instagram account entirely on Saturday afternoon. Interestingly enough, that’s when the “Special Ops: Lioness” actor decided to post a video of him working hard in the gym, although the two are not following each other on social media.

On Saturday afternoon, the 29-year-old actor hit the gym to share a video of him training hard. The video consists of him doing various exercises, including pull-ups, slamming a medicine ball into the ground, and working on his abs while also showing off his flexibility.

It’s not clear who is taking the video, which he wraps up by flexing for the camera. In the caption, he simply wrote “Focused” along with a flex emoji.

Fans had a lot of mixed feelings about his post. “Nobody would even know who you are if it wasn’t for Britney and I personally think that’s what it was all about for you. Of course, I don’t know that, but it sure feels accurate and if you take one cent from her during this divorce I and many others will have no doubt that your marriage to her was 100% usery and not love at all,” one fan commented.

“Oh shush. You know nothing,” another follower replied. ‘Busybody. Mind your own business!” a third fan agreed. “Why do you care? Please tell me. Why do u care? You really don’t know the situation. Social media is just to post that’s all why do people make rude comments? What if he made a comment on your story? He’s just as humans everybody else it’s ridiculous,” another user commented.

“He knew her for 7 years and exactly one year after the wedding he breaks up with her. Coincidence?” the OP asked. The two actually got married in June 2022 after meeting on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video in 2016. He filed for divorce on August 16 but filed for separation on July 28, according to court documents obtained by The Blast.

“He knew what he was getting into... if he truly cares for her he should just walk away and ask for nothing. Not one cent. Every guy she gets with always, always wants something in return. He should be the bigger person and show everyone that he needs or wants anything in return but to wish her the best,” another follower chimed in.

The day after he filed for divorce, the actor took to his Instagram Stories to say that he wished Britney “the best" after their relationship came to an end. “After 6 years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together,” he wrote. “We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other and I wish her the best always. Sh*t happens. Asking for privacy seems [ridiculous] so I will just ask for everyone including media to be kind and thoughtful.”

Fans had a lot of mixed feelings about the end of their relationship. “It happens all the time. I know many people who were together for years and years then got married and it imploded. That's why my partner and I haven't tied the knot after 23 years,” one user shared. “Just watching all our friends' relationships end after they did. Also, just the fact that we don't need a paper from the government to make our commitment ‘official’. But yeah. The idea of a relationship ending soon after marriage isn't novel.”

It’s worth noting that it looks like Sam is working out in the gym of the apartment complex that Britney is now paying for. A source previously told Page Six that the actor has moved into the Ten Thousand building in Los Angeles, which is on the border of Beverly Hills and Century City.

The luxury building contains 283 units in a 40-story building. Rents range from $10,000 to $65,000 a month and include amenities like valet service, a private park, a lap pool, and even on-call doctors who provide everything from general medical care to Botox.

In late August, TMZ confirmed that Britney is the one who is actually paying for Sam’s apartment, noting that although the “standard unit” is $10,000, sources say that Sam was “able to work out a deal for a better apartment at the base price.” That being said, Britney is still spending at least $10,000 a month on his rent.
