In the original divorce, Mrs. Anderson demanded that all property acquired during the marriage be seen as "community property" and should be divided evenly. It should be noted, that the settlement agreement addressed all of the former couple's property too. According to reports, the duo sold their family home in Encino and split the profits from the sale. "The net proceeds of the sale of the (Residence,) defined as the sale price less payoff of the mortgage, and the payment of commissions, fees, and expenses of the listing agents and escrow company, shall be distributed one-half to each party," the agreement read.

The court eventually ordered Anthony to co-sign on his ex-wife's lease, so she could "secure alternate housing."
