Bella & Gigi Hadid's Sister Alana's Modeling Career Reaches New Height With NYFW Debut

Move aside Bella and Gigi, there is another Hadid in town!

Alana Hadid, the older half-sister of the famous supermodels, is back on the runway only a month after making her debut at a Copenhagen fashion show. 

The July-born model, who shares father, Mohamed Hadid, with her famous siblings, has achieved another runway milestone but this time at the New York Fashion Week, which she proudly announced on social media, indicating the laudable progress of her modeling career.

Alana recently proved she is just as talented as Gigi and Bella on the runway, as fans witnessed on her Instagram. She shared highlights from her NYFW debut using a captivating video of her work with the clothing brand Elena Velez.

She was initially filmed heading to the show in a vehicle, adding a view of her blue luggage before showing herself lying on the ground, looking excited for what was to come.

The clip then moved on to a glimpse of a makeup artist working on her face, followed by a display of hair care products and her fingers adorned with white stick-on nails.

The fashion enthusiast who goes by Lanzy Bear on Instagram also captured the runway — a muddy platform, being prepped for the show. Subsequently, viewers saw her in the ensemble of the day, a nude-colored tube dress while her wrist to elbow was painted white.

Alana could also be seen strutting in the mud with a calm expression alongside several more models who later joined her. She then showed the post-runway moments when she took off the costume, makeup, and nails, ending with a makeup-free view of herself.

Taking to the caption, the 40-year-old star declared, "Thank you, @elenavelez, for letting me wear your gorgeous creation & play in the mud with you last night. I'm so honored. What a masterpiece."

She also appreciated the "amazing team" for the event's success, including fashion designer Andrew Curwen, fashion stylist Joe Van O., artist Nadine Mater, and Jessica Hoy.

In no time, numerous commenters flooded the post with flattering remarks, including the fashion brand's owner, who exclaimed, "Thank you for bringing this wild evening to life?."

Alana's younger sister Gigi also hailed her, saying, "Gorgeousittyyyy, this dress is amazing on u." A third commenter followed with, "Always so stunning?." Another remarked, "Wow! What a cool set! Also, you are stunningggg!?," before one more raved, "It's giving Palestinian warrior princess??."

An ensuing comment read, "You look so beautiful with the perfect walk on the muddy runway," and one supporter added, "You looked stunning, and you absolutely killed it!"

Another fan believed the promising fashion model could make the outfit look good even at 80, while one follower wrote, "??? cute, such a Beauty love you ? sister," and a fellow admirer shared, "You look beautiful."

Alana's flawless walk during her NYFW debut can be compared to her runway debut in Copenhagen last month when she worked with Saks Potts.  She documented the event on her Instagram feed using a detailed carousel alongside the caption: "Core memory made in Denmark with @sakspotts ?? my first runway!"

The Washington D.C. native further expressed gratitude to the "amazing brands'" founders Barbara Potts and Catherine Saks, who allowed her to open the runway show "in the rain."

She featured several behind-the-scenes in the attached carousel, including her makeup and hair session. One of the slides also showcased the star of the hour catwalking like a pro with a serious expression.

According to PEOPLE, Alana is not only a brilliant model, but she also co-owns the sunglasses brand Hadid Eyewear with her sister Marielle, the oldest daughter of her father Mohamed and mother Mary Butler.

She once opened up about her relationship with her siblings, Marielle, Gigi, Bella, and brother Anwar, in a 2019 interview, emphasizing their love and support for each other. 

The designer also touched on her connection with supermodels Gigi and Bella, revealing that they all still maintain their intimacy despite their fame and do all the things that sisters do.

As for her modeling career, she revealed that she decided to make her debut when some of her favorite designers showing collections in Copenhagen reached out to her, and she never regretted saying yes.
