Maralee Nichols has returned to social media with a bootylicious update following her baby daddy Tristan Thompson's legal drama with his ex-girlfriend.
The fitness influencer has been media silent since August 6, when she last shared sweet moments with her son, Theo Thompson. However, she recently made her Instagram comeback with a sexy post and a caption that appeared directed at her former flame's child support issues.
The basketball player welcomed his first son, Prince Thompson, with the internet personality Jordan Craig in 2016. That same year, the athlete became romantically linked to Khloé Kardashian, with whom he fathered two children — a daughter named True and a son called Tatum.
Maralee Nichols Says She Is Minding Her Business Amid Tristan Thompson's Legal Battle With Jordan Craig
The fitness model commemorated her return to Instagram with a stunning image of her voluptuous body. The mother of one shared a picture of her famous derrière in a skimpy ensemble that stopped below her backside.
The colorful number featured a back cut-out and a sleeveless design accentuating the media personality's curves. Nichols posed with her back to the camera, flaunting her long legs in the mini outfit as she stood on a staircase.
"Drink water, eat veggies, and mind your business," the social media influencer captioned the tempting update. Her words seemingly reflected her thoughts on Thompson's child support issues with Craig. The basketball player and his baby mama's legal troubles came to light following reports of a $40,000 agreement.
Legal documents obtained by The Daily Mail revealed the former Boston Celtics team member was paying Craig a $40,000 monthly bill in child support fees for their son Prince. Although there was no reason to suspect that Tristan had missed any payments to date, his ex-girlfriend was not taking any chances.
Craig reportedly filed for an "abstract of judgment" in Los Angeles. The document serves as a public record if a debt, which in Craig's case is the child support payment, is not fulfilled by her son's father.
The social media influencer's filing appeared to be her insurance, given the significant decrease in Thompson's paychecks. Since the former couple's breakup, the athlete's alleged annual salary of $17.7million has dwindled to $9.2million.
The NBA star was reportedly paying the three mothers of his children an estimated total of $120,000 monthly in child support fees. Before Craig filed to secure her $40,000 dues for her son, the athlete was in a heated paternity battle against Nichols in 2021.
The months-long case saw the basketballer fighting to prove he did not father a son with the model after cheating on Kardashian. However, he was forced to publicly apologize to the reality TV star in January 2022 after the paternity test identified him as Theo's biological father.
Additionally, Nichols sued Thompson for child support and accused him of trying to buy her silence with $75,000. The duo's case ended with the basketball player shelling out $9,500 monthly in child support fees, and his baby mama ended up with sole custody of their son.
Maralee Nichols Showers Son With Love Following Tristan Thompson's Tribute To His Son With Khloé Kardashian
Before Nichols returned to social media, the mother of one seemingly addressed her ex-lover's favoritism of his children with Kardashian. The model proved she was enough to ensure Theo grew up in a loving home following the Canadian athlete's speculated absence in the boy's life.
On her Instagram Story, the Houston native shared a heartwarming video set to Bobby McFerrin’s iconic 1988 song “Don’t Worry Be Happy.” In the clip, the toddler was seen having fun at the beach while his mother filmed him from behind.

The words “Beach Please” flashed in blue neon lights at the bottom of the screen. The caption, alongside the famous happiness anthem, seemingly conveyed Nichols' desire to be happy with Theo, with or without the NBA star. Nichol's post came at the heels of his birthday tribute to his other son.
Thompson celebrated his and Kardashian's son, Tatum's first birthday, with a lengthy message about how the little boy had positively impacted his life. In his statement, the Canadian described the celebrant as a powerful reminder of "God's grace," "a future king," and his "gift."
The media personality's tribute received backlash, with several fans calling out the entertainer for celebrating one son while ignoring the other. One commenter quipped: “Not cool to embrace some and not all your children, no matter who gave birth to them!”
