Francia Raisa injured her leg in the line of duty!

The actress, who is best known for her role in "Bring It On: All or Nothing," has disclosed that she broke her foot when taking a class on perfecting her kicks. She claimed that she started the class as a way of working towards her latest area of interest in acting, action comedy.

Francia Raisa Recalled The Moments Leading To Her Injuring Her Leg

Exactly one month after Raisa shared how "a lot of stuff" now made sense following her polycystic ovary syndrome [PCOS] diagnosis, she has told her 1.7 million followers how she landed in a boot. Donning a nude-colored spaghetti-strap bra top, the actress turned on her phone's camera in her bedroom and began:

"I know everyone is wondering and asking me why the h*ll im in a boot and what happened. The thing is, I'm asking myself the same question. I don't really know."

The 35-year-old disclosed her belief about what transpired after thinking about it while "sitting here all day and night," explaining, "I have a dream to be an action comedy star. Action comedy is what I wanna do and when I want to pursue something or I want to be really good at something, I get ahead of it, and I start training in it."

That thought process led her to join stump classes, which started earlier this year. While she seemingly got the hang of things on time, her last class was slightly different as she only has "a vague memory" of doing "some sort of jump kick."

"I think I remember landing and being like "ouuu!'" Raisa recalled while making a face to give her fans a clearer view of the moment. Continuing, she said; "It was like a pinch. And I was like 'whatever' and went back to it."

It was not until much later that the "Grown-ish" star's right leg really started to hurt, especially when she wore heels. "You know that pressure that you get on your baby toe when your shoes are a little too tight and you've got to take it off? That's what I was feeling every time I put on my heels,'" she shared further.

Raisa stated that she "kept working out, went to DC, went to see Beyoncé." She just "kept going" until she "felt it and it started traveling down the side of my foot."

Despite that, the "How I Met Your Father" screen star did not tire out and even went for a hot yoga session. It was during yoga that she realized that "something's wrong" and the "entire side" of her foot "was completely swollen."

She immediately messaged her assistant to schedule a doctor's appointment for her. The Gracie Allen Awards winner's day at the hospital resulted in her getting an X-ray and her doctor suggesting she take an MRI.

After sharing her wish about getting better quickly, otherwise she would have to "get this MRI" to determine if it "might be a small fracture we can't see," Raisa wrapped up:

"Keeping it elevated, keeping the boot on, and not being so active. Hopefully, this is just a week or two because I'm already going crazy. I need to go to the gym. I'm that person. Yeah, I'm handicapped at home. So, good times. That's what happened. I don't know what happened. The end."

The Imagen Awards Nominee Is Balancing Therapy With Learning More About PCOS

As for her PCOS battle, The Blast reported that the Los Angeles-born actress had announced her diagnosis in a make-up-free video of herself. At the time, she had said:

"Well, I froze my eggs two years ago. Was that two years ago? Yes, and during those tests was when I found out. And a lot of stuff made sense."

Unfortunately, she had no idea how to manage it and instead relied on her girlfriends' advice to navigate the situation. Although the Teen Choice Awards nominee admitted that she did not "necessarily have a solution or an answer," many of her supporters have continued to praise her for her candor in the fight.

Another area Raisa has been open about is her commitment to being a better person. She had previously opened up about how she applied the progress she made in therapy to "creating a home" she enjoyed. Addressing it via Instagram, she partly asserted:

"I didn't understand the concept of having your home be your safe space and sanctuary. I was honestly living in chaos and leggings. I still love my leggings[,] don't get me wrong but I enjoy putting myself together everyday now and creating a home I enjoy."
