Francia Raisa is revealing a new health update.

Unveiling a personal journey of self-discovery, the actress candidly shared her experience of stumbling upon a diagnosis of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). The Teen Choice Awards nominee, who recently marked her 35th birthday, shared how the pieces of her health puzzle started to fall into place.

Lying down and embracing her makeup-free face, the "Bring It On: All or Nothing" star said that she recently discovered she had PCOS, which made her realize many women share the same experience.

She said, "Well, I froze my eggs two years ago. Was that two years ago? Yes, and during those tests was when I found out. And a lot of stuff made sense." However, she noted that she did not receive guidance on managing it and relied on advice from her girlfriends to navigate the situation.

In another update, the 35-year-old continued, "I don't necessarily have a solution or an answer. Like it's something that I'm still even though it's been two years, it's still something that I'm learning about."

She mentioned that her diagnosis explained her symptoms apart from the cysts on her ovaries. And while diet and exercise played vital roles, she was excited about her friend's book for more insights.

The "Grown-ish" actress noted that speaking out led to support and expressed her openness to tips. Raisa also assured her followers that she would share any helpful tips that she got. 

The news arrived shortly after the Gracie Allen Awards winner shared a video from her friend and author, Candice Craig, promoting the release of her book titled "Living With PCOS: Road To Reversal."

On her Story, she captioned the repost "My friend wrote a book about PCOS," accompanying it with an image featuring the book, cutlery, and cocktails arranged on a table. The "How I Met Your Father" actress then shared in her next Story, "I also have PCOS and am still learning to navigate it. Thanks for this, @candice."

In the initial snapshot, the pair shared a candid moment inside a vehicle, wine glasses in hand, exchanging affectionate glances. As the breeze tousled their hair, Gomez could be seen in a striped off-white outfit and Raisa in a white dress.

The subsequent slide depicted the Hollywood figures posing gracefully from the side, with the "Hands to Myself" singer donning a golden tube dress while embracing her former friend from behind. At the same time, the "Over There" guest star wore a white gown adorned with butterfly motifs.

The last slide showcased the "Wizards of Waverly Place" alum in a stylish white mini dress, arm casually draped around her former companion. Meanwhile, Raisa looked stunning in a long black dress with sultry cutouts highlighting her enviable physique.

In the caption, Gomez wrote, "Happiest of birthdays to this special human being. No matter where life takes us, I love you. ❤️ @franciaraisa." The post garnered over nine million likes and a range of comments from those who expressed support for Gomez and those who stood up for Raisa. 

"You better, she saved your life," a netizen wrote, echoing a sentiment shared by another person who believed the "Monte Carlo" actress celebrated her former friend due to a sense of guilt.

On the other side of the spectrum, a supportive fan praised the "Good for You" singer, stating, "Shutting down those drama allegations with EASE.??."
