Francia Raisa Wants Her External To make The Progress Her Internal Have Made

The "Bring It On: All or Nothing" actress took to Instagram to unveil a significant achievement in her therapy expedition. She candidly shared a post showing the before and after of her house.

The lighthearted clip started with the "Beyond Paradise" actress, dressed in a black sweatshirt and leggings, singing to Rihanna's "Love On The Brain" song in a room loaded with dirt, boxes, and cleaning equipment.

However, the "Gracie Allen Awards" winner transformed the whole area into a super-cool kitchen with a massive island, fridge, stools, and other necessities. This time, she donned a strapless bra top and a tan skirt with a front slit.

Alongside the enticing upload, Raisa opened up about applying progress from therapy to "creating a home" she enjoys. The "Fired Up!" actress penned:

"The external work is just as important as the internal. I've been in therapy for the last 9 years and I am so proud of how far l've come internally but it wasn't reflected in my home or when I looked in the mirror."

The message continued, "I didn't understand the concept of having your home be your safe space and sanctuary. I was honestly living in chaos and leggings. I still love my leggings[,] don't get me wrong but I enjoy putting myself together everyday now and creating a home I enjoy."

Even though it was a satisfactory experience for her, in the end, she added that she hoped not to "never go through renovations like I am now [,] it's been fun getting to know this side of myself ☺️."

Touched by the sincerity, her followers flooded the comments with encouraging comments. "Stunning inside & out! ?," Fellow actress and TV host Adrienne Bailon wrote. Whereas a second commentator called her "THE REAL QUEEN."

A fifth fan shared, "I too learned the importance of making your home a private sanctuary. Where nobody sees it but yourself. It's truly brought healing, understanding & love back into my life. Proud of you Francia. Keep up the good work ???❤️."

This candid post brings back when Raisa uploaded a picture of herself journaling 6 years after she began therapy. "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" actress sat on a white couch with her dog, wearing leggings and a yellow hoodie with "SO MANY EMOTIONS" written in front. In the caption of the post, she wrote

"I started going to therapy 6 years ago and it was the best thing I could have done for myself. Journaling has been a huge part of my growth and it’s my form of prayer and survival. Find what works for you and heal. #worldmentalhealthday #itsoknottobeokay."

The Teen Choice Awards nominee, who recently marked her 35th birthday, recently talked about her experience of stumbling upon a diagnosis of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS).

For the uninitiated, PCOS is a condition where you have few, unusual, or very long periods, often resulting in having too much of a male hormone called androgen. The "Bulletface" actress posted a makeup-free clip of herself, explaining her discoveries and how she realized many women share the same experience. She said:

"Well, I froze my eggs two years ago. Was that two years ago? Yes, and during those tests was when I found out. And a lot of stuff made sense."

She also noted that no one recommended any tips on how to manage the symptoms. Instead, she had to rely on advice from her girlfriends to help navigate the situation. In another clip, she continued saying:

"I don't necessarily have a solution or an answer. Like it's something that I'm still even though it's been two years, it's still something that I'm learning about."

However, she mentioned that her diagnosis clarified her symptoms, adding that while diet and exercise played vital roles, she was excited about her friend's book for more insights. In the end, the "Grown-ish" actress expressed her openness to more tips and assured her followers that she would share any helpful tips that she got.
