Rihanna & ASAP Rocky's Newborn Son's Unique Name Finally Revealed

Rihannaand ASAP Rocky blessed their newborn baby boy with a unique name that might have gotten its origin from one of his hit records.

The superstars named their son, Riot Rose Mayers. It is the second child's name of the couple that starts with the letter "R." The A-listers share another son named RZA Athelston Mayers, who is named after the famous Wu-Tang members' rap moniker.

It's a great name and it's unclear if Riot's name is associated with the song. Earlier this year, the rapper released a song 'Riot' featuring Pharrell Williams.

According to the child's birth certificate, obtained by The Blast, the baby was born on August 1, 2023, inside Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles at 7:41 a.m. Of course, this is 2 days earlier than an inaccurate report by TMZ that the kid was born on August 3.

Interestingly, Rihanna's OB-GYN is listed as Thais Aliabadi who made headlines on 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' for working with Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner. We broke the story, Al Pacino's girlfriend also used the famous doctor to deliver their son.

The name of the musician's newborn has been quite a mystery. The first time around, the baby's name didn't go public until weeks after he was born. In this case, the child is over a month old. The good news is that RiRi revealed photos of RZA a few months after his birth, fans hope she will do the same with Riot.

Remember, Rihanna shocked the world with her second pregnancy -- announcing it during the Super Bowl halftime show. As you know, she didn't actually talk about it but just made it public by sporting a large baby bump while performing her hits on stage.

Fans were pumped after the singer shared a smoking hot topless maternity photo shoot for her first pregnancy, though she didn't post the pictures until a few days after RZA's first birthday. She teased a possible second topless shoot using the hashtag "to be continued" on the post. Fingers crossed!

The 'Umbrella' singer's representative did say the famous couple would spend the first few months of parenthood in private. "Rihanna ASAP will spend the early days of parenthood out of the public eye and won’t make any immediate plans to debut the new baby," they said. RiRi opened up about this pregnancy saying it was different from the first time around.

"It’s so different from the first one,” she told Entertainment Tonight. Adding, "No cravings. Tons of nausea. Everything’s different, but I’m enjoying it."

She continued. "I feel good I feel energetic."

As we said, Rihanna hasn't shared any photos of little Riot, but fans are hoping she will do it soon.
