Joe Jonas Demands Joint Custody Of His Kids In Divorce Case

Jonas Brother’s singer, Joe Jonas, has legally filed to divorce his wife, “Game of Thrones” actress, Sophie Turner.

Rumors of a separation between the popular couple began swirling recently after reports claimed that the pair were heading for divorce. Obviously, he pulled the trigger.

In the past few days, fans' sightings of Turner at the Jonas Brothers’ recent concert and clips of Jonas wearing his wedding ring made rumors of an impending divorce almost unbelievable, until this official filing by the singer.

In the filing, Joe Jonas is asking for the former couple to share custody of their two daughters.

The couple who share two kids together, went viral over the weekend after reports surfaced about Jonas looking to hire a divorce attorney in Los Angeles.

The Blastcan confirm that Jonas filed the petition to divorce Turner. Jonas “respectfully requests” in the documents that he and the “Game of Thrones” actress “establish a parenting plan” and a “timesharing schedule” with their children.

Willa and D.J.'s primary residence was listed as Miami, Florida, where he and Turner had been living. The case was filed in Miami-Dade County Courts on September 5.

Interestingly, Jonas hired Thomas Sasser to file the case -- who also represented Tiger Woods. This might indicate the split could get nasty.

As we reported earlier, sources revealed that both Turner and Sophie have an iron-clad prenup which will make divorcing much easier for the duo. Jonas is expected to keep all of his music royalties with his brothers and also his band, DNCE. Turner, on the other hand, will not have to worry about her “Game of Thrones” money and any residuals from her filmography.

Also, Jonas and Turner get to keep any properties owned before their union. This means that their “shared” homes in Los Angeles, Miami, and the U.K. will remain in the name of whoever owned the house prior to their marriage.

Over the weekend when news of their impending split went viral, fans were convinced it was all a rumor thanks to videos that showed Turner at the Jonas Brothers’ concert seemingly supporting her husband. The singer himself also sported their wedding band which had been mysteriously absent in previous outings.

Jonas also performed the 2019 love song “Hesitate,” which he reportedly wrote for Turner, indicating that things might not be over between the famous couple.

In a chat with Billboard, Jonas’ younger brother, Nick, described the song as a “love letter” to Turner.
