Britney Spears Went Horseback Riding In Mexico: 'Had To Take My Top Off'

Singer Britney Spears is on another vacation in Mexico following her divorce from Sam Asghari.

In early July, the 41-year-old pop star shared a photo of her on horseback in a bikini on a previous trip to Mexico. She later followed it up with a video of her singing on horseback as she trotted through the sand.

The night Sam Asghari filed for divorce, Britney took to Instagram to share another photo of her on horseback and expressed her intentions to buy two horses that she planned to name Sophie and Roar. Although it's not clear if she ever bought those horses, she did take another trip to Mexico to get a new tattoo and go horseback riding yet again.

On Friday night, the "Hold Me Closer" singer took to Instagram to share a video that featured her riding on horseback in white shorts and a yellow floral crop top with puffy sleeves.

In the caption, Britney wrote, "Just so you girls know !!! You are not defined by your phone or rectangle in your hands !!! It’s always good to stop and LOOK AROUND to see what’s going on around you !!! And there’s always therapy ???✏️????????✍??? !!!"

She followed it up with another video of her going horseback riding with more close-up shots of her face. This video also includes a few shots of the pop star from the back as she rides topless along the sand.

"I had to take my top off in the f*cking desert!!! should have gone naked!!!" she wrote in the caption of this Instagram post.

In a third Instagram post, Britney shared a photo of her riding a horse on one slide. In the second slide, she wiggled her bare feet for the camera, showing off her vine tattoo.

In the caption of this Instagram post, Britney wrote, “When people say Jesus will be back ? !!! Just know he AIN’T ??‍♀️ !!!”

Earlier on Friday afternoon, the "Mind Your Business" singer revealed that she got a tattoo of a snake on her lower back. She is wearing the same outfit as she is in her horseback riding video as she dances around barefoot in the kitchen.

She dropped a single snake emoji in the caption of the Instagram video. "My new snake tattoo, guys," she says in the video. "I’m so excited. Yeah!”

Later on in the video, she adds, “It doesn’t hurt that bad, actually.” The pop star actually has several tattoos. According to Page Six, she has a vine on her foot, a lip print on her waist, double crosses on her hips, and a fairy tattoo.

Fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to talk about how much they loved her new tattoo. “I love seeing Brit do the things that she’s always loved again,” one fan commented. “I’m so happy that she can finally make her own decisions,” another follower wrote.

“And I think you can finally get a look at the one she posted getting on her right arm a while ago. I think it's pink too,” a third fan added. “Look how much she's out and about, this is a different vibe. Like this feels good. I almost feel a sense of relief right now. She's doing whatever she wants.”

Early Saturday morning, Britney posted a photo of Viola Davis as Barbie, even though she wasn’t in the movie. “This Barbie helps you get away with murder,” is written on the photo, referring to Davis’ role as Annalise Keating in the critically acclaimed drama “How To Get Away With Murder,” which ran from 2014 to 2020.

Not only did she tag Viola Davis in the caption, but it looks like she might have told her followers exactly when she watched the “Barbie” movie, writing, “Last week before dinner ??? !!!”
