Britney Spears Gets A New Lower Back Tattoo... Of A Snake!

Pop star Britney Spears has decided to get a new tattoo amid her divorce from Sam Asghari.

The 41-year-old pop star took to Instagram on Friday afternoon to share a video of her dancing barefoot in a kitchen, showing off her new tattoo.

On Friday night, the “Hold Me Closer” singer took to Instagram to share a video of her wearing a floral crop top with puffy sleeves and white shorts. She dances barefoot around in the kitchen as she shows off her new tattoo, which is a small red snake that can be seen crawling up her back.

If fans have any doubts that it is a snake tattoo, she dropped a snake emoji in the caption of her Instagram post. Comments were disabled, as they have been on most of her recent Instagram posts. The snake tattoo came only one day after the “Special Ops: Lioness” actor talked to the press on the SAG-AFTRA picket line.

On Thursday, Sam was seen marching at the front of the picket line outside Disney Studios in Burbank, California. In a video shared by TMZ, he would not discuss her divorce with Britney Spears, but he did compare himself to Leonardo DiCaprio.

“That’s the point of this strike. I have the same amount of jobs as Leonardo DiCaprio does,” Sam said, which drew immediate backlash from fans. “I hope everything gets resolved very fast so that we can all go back to doing what we love doing the most, which is making art and inspiring people.”

“Writers are the heart and soul of every project we do, so SAG strong,” he added. Fans were quick to point out that Sam has only one film in post-production according to his IMDb page. According to the “Titanic” actor’s IMDb page, he has four acting jobs and eight producing credits on hiatus due to the strike.

In July 2022, will.i.am and Britney Spears released yet another collaboration: “Mind Your Business.” The song was met with mixed reactions from fans. Although the Black Eyed Peas frontman had teased the song in the week leading up to it, Britney shared one or two posts on her Instagram Stories announcing the song but did not promote it at all.

Musician David Guetta attempted to improve the song and released his own remix on Friday. Will.i.am took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to promote the new song, but Britney did not post about it at all. “It’s a Remix B****H… Thanks @davidguetta… This Remix is ganna rock the clubs!!!” he wrote in the caption of a short video clip of the song.

In August 2022, Britney released “Hold Me Closer” with Sir Elton John. The song, which had its one-year anniversary on Saturday, marked Britney's first song in six years and the first single to be released following her conservatorship, which lasted from February 2008 to November 2021. In a deleted Twitter post, the "Toxic" singer confessed that she was feeling "overwhelmed" at the time.

“Okie dokie … my first song in 6 years ? !!!! It’s pretty d— cool that I’m singing with one of the most classic men of our time … @eltonofficial ?!!!!” Britney wrote at the time. “I’m kinda overwhelmed… it’s a big deal to me !!! I’m meditating more ??‍♀️ and learning my space is valuable and precious !!!”

“I’m learning every day is a clean slate to try and be a better person and do what makes me happy … yes I choose happiness today,” she continued. “I tell myself every day to let go of the hurt bitterness and try to forgive myself and others to what may have been hurtful.”

“I want to be fearless like when I was younger and not be so scared and fearful,” she added. “I pray there actually is truth to the Holy Spirit and I hope that spirit is with my children as well !!! Yes … I choose happiness and joy today ☀️ !!!”
