In one of her latest Instagram recipe videos, Senada showed her followers how to make their very own tzatziki dip while wearing a black Zentoa bikini top of her own design. Her long dark hair is tied back into space buns as she chops dill, minced garlic, and slices a cucumber.

“Healthiest Tzatziki Dip, Delicious and Easy to make - try this homemade Tzatziki Recipe and you’ll never get store-bought again. Enjoy,” she wrote in the caption before explaining why this dish was important to her.

“Growing up in Europe this was a favorite dish of mine. I can eat this with a spoon. Protein-packed, creamy, garlicky, and delicious,” she explained. “You may use a variety of veggies as a dipping vehicle. I used zucchini. You may also use bread/pita or even use it as a sauce for your sandwiches.”

Senada uses 5 oz of 5% Greek Yogurt as a base. She explains that you can use 0%, but 5% fits into her macros, which is what she uses. She then adds 0.75 ounces or a “handful” of finely chopped dill. She also incorporates 5 minced or grated garlic cloves but notes that fans can use more or less garlic to fit their preferences.

She also uses 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of red wine or rice vinegar, noting that both the olive oil and vinegar amounts can be increased or decreased depending on an individual’s taste. She also adds half of a grated cucumber and a pinch of salt to finish off the dish.

She used lightly salted zucchini as her dipping vehicle since it’s her “fave” but she reminded fans that they can “use a variety of veggies, bread, pita, or just eat it with a spoon.” She also let her followers know that she has uploaded the recipe to her CrushIt! app, where she posts all of her workout programs and recipes.

Fans Have Some Mixed Feelings About Senada’s Recipe!

Although some fans tried the recipe and called it “so yummy and delicious,” other followers felt that some of the ingredients that she used invalidated it from being a “true” tzatziki sauce. “You don’t put vinegar in tzatziki sauce and yogurt is gross. Try using sour cream,” one user suggested. “You have no idea,” another follower shot back.

“You need to press the cucumber with two hands in order to get it dry before you put it in,” another user recommended. “Squeezing out the cucumber juice before putting it in the yogurt will prevent the yogurt from getting watered down. Do not waste the cucumber juice. I always drink it,” another follower added.

“How long does it last in the fridge?” another fan asked. “It’ll hold up well for a few days. It never lasts for me as I’ll devour it within a day or two, but I’d say at least 5-7 days. The only thing that will start to happen is it’ll get a bit more tart,” Senada replied.
