Benji Madden Ends 5-month IG Hiatus To 'Show Love To' Wife Cameron Diaz: 'I Am One Lucky Man

Benji Madden is back on Instagram after a five-month break, just in time to celebrate his wife Cameron Diaz's birthday, and fans could not be more obsessed.

Benji and Diaz have been married for eight years and share a daughter, Raddix, whom they welcomed via surrogacy in December 2019.

In honor of the award-winning actress' new age, the Good Charlotte backing vocalist conveyed his unwavering love in a tribute, appreciating her for building a family with him.

Benji has only adoration and the highest regard for his wife and expressed this while celebrating her 51st birthday with a charming Instagram post featuring a striking photo of the celebrant. The image gave a close-up view of Diaz hugging their cat with a huge grin. Her eyes lit up with joy and were typically mesmerizing.

Attached to the snap was the most beautiful tribute filled with genuine words of affection from the "Any Given Sunday" actress' husband. He wrote, "I'm offline mostly these days, just working, painting, making things and doing family life, but I have grown to like my little tradition of coming back on special occasions to show love to my Queen."

Benji continued, "So today, it's a very Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife, best friend, best partner in everything, ride or die, greatest Mom to our little girl, @Avaline wine boss, family chef, advisor, collaborator and everything else."

He further noted that she did it all and he could not be more "grateful" to have their family. The 44-year-old then called himself "one lucky man" before concluding, "I know that seems obvious, but it really is nice to say it out loud now and then when you're feeling it ❤️ ? I love you •forever •always •yours •true love ❤️ Happy Birthday, Cameron ❤️?."

Soon after, the celebrant reacted to the tribute with a matching emotional message that read, "There's no one else I would rather do this life with. We are so blessed.. I you with all my ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ @benjaminmadden."

Benji's brothers also dropped comments, with his older sibling Josh Madden exclaiming, "best best best – love you so much ?" while his twin brother Joel opted for three red heart emojis. Other fans joined in wishing Diaz a happy birthday and praising the couple. One of the comments read, "Happy birthday! Happy you guys are so happy ?."

A second followed: "Happy Birthday, Cameron! U hv the best one for u, Benji!! Much love to yall!! ?❤????? CC cox." An Instagram user added, "Happy Birthday Cameron! What a beautiful family y'all have. To many more! ❤️ ? ?" while a fourth commenter expressed, "Love these type of posts ? Happy Birthday Cameron!"

Similarly, one admirer gushed, "How stinking cute are you. All domesticated! Happy birthday, mama!" before another proclaimed, "Happy Birthday, beauty!!!! I love you, CDM!!! ????.” An eighth devotee then raved, "Happy G day Cameron!!!!"

Benji and Diaz have been an item since 2014 when they started dating after meeting at an event attended by his twin brother, Joel, and his wife, Nicole Richie.

The "Being John Malkovich" actress recalled their first encounter during a 2021 interview on the "Anna Faris Is Unqualified" podcast. "I met them first, and then they didn't set us up," she said. "But we were in the same room because of them, and then we found each other," explained Diaz.

The lovebirds eventually got engaged the same year, confirming the news in December 2014 after months of speculation. The following month, they wedded in a simple ceremony  — a giant backyard tent decorated with white flowers and candles in their Beverly Hills home.

Back in 2022, when Diaz made a comeback to Hollywood after a brief retirement, an insider revealed who was behind her return.  At the time, the "Charlie's Angels" actress was set to star in the Netflix movie "Back in Action" alongside Jamie Foxx.

The informant shared that her ever-loving spouse, Benji, was the one who "encouraged her to unretire" adding that the action-comedy was "the perfect movie project" for her return.

The source also mentioned that while Diaz felt "rusty" and "nervous" about it, she was "mostly excited" and "ready to tackle this movie project."
