Sydel Curry-Lee And Husband Damion Lee Welcome Their Second Child!

Sydel Curry-Lee and Damion Lee are now parents of two!

Curry-Lee shared exciting news on social media on Friday night that the couple welcomed their second child two days prior.

"Baby girl you have completely melted our hearts and our world," Curry-Lee wrote in the caption of her Instagram photo announcing her baby's arrival.

Curry-Lee shared that Daryn was born on August 23 at 9:38 p.m. In an Instagram Story, she shared some more details on the baby's birth.

"I just wanted to come on and say thank you for all the love. We have just been living in that newborn bubble and just kind of soaking it all in the last couple of days. It was a crazy Wednesday night; I will say that. I'll do our birth story later, at a different time," she said. "Honestly the craziest experience ever, but so good."

In a second Instagram Story, the new mom explains how to pronounce the baby's name and shares that she was not only born on her due date, but also her brother Seth's birthday.

On her due date, Curry-Lee shared some maternity photos captioned, "Happy Due Date baby girl! You are such a blessing already. We can’t wait to meet you and love you, whenever you’re ready!"

And little did she know, she was closer than she thought to holding her new baby girl.

The couple is also parents to son Daxon, 21 months, who was excited to meet his new sibling. Just before the baby was born, the family took their last photo together as a family of three.

"Our last photo as a family of 3. I couldn't tell at the time but my stomach droppeddddd which makes sense as to how I had her an hour after this was taken. Story time coming soon!" she wrote on the sweet family photo.

Tons of congratulatory messages hit the comment section of her baby's announcement on Instagram. Friends and followers have been waiting patiently for baby girl's arrival and everyone wanted to welcome her to the world.

"Awwww… Same birthday as Uncle Seth. Congratulations," one person wrote. Another said, "And then there was 4! ??"

Throughout her second pregnancy, Curry-Lee shared her experience with her social media followers. At one point, the mental health advocate and influencer wrote down all the questions she was receiving and filmed a YouTube video addressing them all.

She explained why her second pregnancy was very different than her first, and openly talked about her IVF journey.

"This was an IVF baby. We didn’t have to do another egg retrieval or IVF cycle," she explained. "We had nine embryos left over, and so we just transferred another embryo and thankfully it worked on the first time."

She also said in the video that the baby's due date is the same day as her brother Seth's birthday, but she didn't think she would actually give birth on that day because she was induced at 41 weeks with her son Daxon. But she did add that it would be cool if her baby and her brother shared a birthday, and that's exactly how it happened!

Curry-Lee also answered the question about deciding on her children's age gap and when she knew it was time for another baby.

She explained that she always wanted at least two children, or maybe four, but said after her second child's arrival, she will figure that out. Once Daxon started to sleep through the night consistently, the thought of having a second child was born.

"We didn't know exactly what the age gape was going to be. I said I wanted to push them out and get them over with and then kind of start really raising them together, but I didn't know that it was gonna be this soon after," she explained.

"Daxon had just turned one like two weeks, maybe a week-and-a-half before we transferred this embryo, so Daxon will be 22 months, so almost 2 years old when this baby is born."
