When asked if she plans to have a gender reveal, she explained how they found out they were having a baby girl. Curry-Lee, who went through IVF to get pregnancy with her son also conceived with IVF this time around. Because they knew the baby’s gender when they transferred the embryo, waiting to find out the gender and having a gender reveal was unnecessary.
“This was our third embryo that we transferred,” she said. “We transferred one, the first one didn’t work when we were trying for Daxon.” The second embryo transferred was Daxon and now the third is the couple’s baby girl.
One fan asked how she’s feeling during this pregnancy. “Horrible. This has been rough. This pregnancy has been rough,” she explained. “I was nauseous, sick for the first 12, 13 weeks and then on and off since then. It was really bad.” She also explained with a caption on the Story video, “24/7 debilitating nausea and fatigue has been rocking my world but thankfully getting better these days.”
She further explained that this pregnancy and Daxon’s pregnancy have been “night and day.”
Another fan wanted to know who she told first about her second pregnancy, and she explained that her two sister-in-laws, Callie Curry, Seth Curry’s wife, and Ayesha Curry, wife to Stephen Curry, as well as her friend Liz.
“Ayesha went with me for my transfer because all of our embryos are in California,” she said. “I didn’t tell Damion for like two or three days later because he was on the road and I didn’t want to tell him while he was gone.” But although she didn’t tell him she was pregnant, he knew she was experiencing pregnancy symptoms.
Another fan asked if she’s experiencing any pregnancy cravings and if they are different from the first time around, and she said, “I didn’t really have cravings with Daxon.” She continued by explaining that she’s craving salads and anything that’s not healthy like macaroni and cheese, french fries, Taco Bell and “all the bad stuff.”
Another question was about having an anterior placenta, which Curry-Lee said she’s had with Daxon and with this pregnancy. She talked about feeling the baby kick for the first time about a week ago at 17 weeks pregnant.
