The upcoming series about the Chrisley family promises to expose all the ongoing drama in their lives!
The famous family lost their reality TV privileges following the cancellation of their show, "Chrisley Knows Best" and its spin-off, "Growing Up Chrisley." However, an untitled new program shall see the clan's brood picking up the mantle in their parents' absence.
The oldest of Todd and Julie Chrisley's children, Chase Chrisley, recently spoke about the show and what it would entail. According to the 27-year-old, the series shall reveal his parents' alleged horrid prison conditions alongside his and his loved ones' daily struggles.
Chase Chrisley Claims Upcoming Series Will Show His Family's Narrative & Not The Stories Shared By Others
The TV personality and his loved ones were gearing up for their return to the small screen, a powerful comeback the entertainer raved about. Revealing the reason for the show, the socialite noted it was time to share their truth without third parties.
“What we’re not going to do is lay down and back down to anybody, and we will air it out,” Chase declared. The people in question appeared to be the sources spreading news about his family's issues. However, the 27-year-old claimed the new show would stop these unsolicited narrators.
“With everything that we’ve been going through, there’s been a lot of people that have been talking and kind of trying to tell our story for us, so we were like we might as well get out there and tell it ourselves,” the entrepreneur explained to Extra.
According to the Chase Chrisley Collection founder, some of the stories that shall be shared on the untitled series were his parents' prison dilemma and how the family endured their absence while navigating their individual lives.
Regarding Todd and Julie's incarceration over fraud charges, their oldest son claimed the pair were stuck in unfavorable conditions despite the public's alleged belief they were in "country club prisons." Lamenting his parents' predicament, the reality TV star revealed:
“My mom’s sitting up there with no air, and my dad’s facility has no air. They both have black mold, lead-based paint, the roof is falling in on both facilities. So it’s just, it’s just a lie.”
Chase also stated the unscripted program would have scenes of the family communicating with the imprisoned couple over the phone or going for visits. When asked if his siblings were worried about sharing this dark side of their story, the 27-year-old confirmed there was zero hesitation.
“I’m sure you’re aware no one in my family has a filter, so we could really give a s—t less what anybody has to say or think. We have a broken system; we know that. This is just our turn to actually experience it firsthand,” the entertainer quipped.
“We’re going to continue to fight, and that’s a part of the show, is bringing the truth out there and airing it out,” the media personality added. As for how the kids were holding up without their parents, the entrepreneur explained the ordeal made them closer than ever.
