Billy Ray Cyrus & Fiancée Finally Make Red Carpet Debut Days After Tish's Wedding

It has been about a year since country music star Billy Ray Cyrus' got engaged to his fiancée Firerose, and fans finally got to see them make their red carpet debut in style!

In August 2022, Billy proposed to the Australian singer. whom he first met over a decade ago on the set of "Hannah Montana."

Now, the lovebirds have gone red carpet official at the 2023 Academy of Country Music –ACM Honors, only days after Billy's ex, Tish Cyrus, tied the knot with Dominic Purcell in Malibu.

On Wednesday, August 23, Billy and Firerose graced the 16th ACM Honors at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, looking adorable in matching country-themed outfits. 

According to PEOPLE, the multi-platinum-selling artist was decked in a denim shirt jacket, black trousers, and cowboy hat while his partner wore a multi-colored sequined jacket, a simple black hat, and sparkling cowgirl boots. 

Amid the ceremony, the duo went onstage to give a laudable performance to the room filled with fellow musicians like Carly Pearce, Randy Travis, Nelly, Tim McGraw, and his wife, Faith Hill. Billy and Firerose, who had their first encounter in 2010, began dating only last year and even worked on a song together in 2021.

In November 2022, the "Achy Breaky Heart" vocalist confirmed that he had asked the Australian star for her hand in marriage. He confessed at the time, "She's the real deal." 

Meanwhile, the engaged couple's red carpet debut occurred less than a week after Billy's ex-wife, Tish, married Purcell in an exquisite Malibu ceremony at a grand mansion decorated with white rose petals.  The event fell on Saturday, August 19, exactly four months after they publicly announced their engagement on Instagram using the sweetest images. 

The momager, who shares five children with Billy, including Miley Cyrus, looked magnificent in a strapless, floor-length wedding dress as seen in photos. In addition, her veil was typically clipped to the back of her hair, leaving her blonde tresses to cascade down her back.

On the other hand, the groom wore a classic white longsleeved shirt with his sleeves rolled up his elbows and some buttons undone, giving fans a glimpse of his chest and a white vest underneath. Miley served as her mom's maid of honor. She donned a striking blue dress, similar to the other bridesmaids, while the groomsmen opted for the same plain white longsleeved shirts as the "Prison Break" actor.

Other attendees included Tish's children from her first marriage to Baxter Neal Helson, Brandi Cyrus, 36, and Trace Cyrus, 34, who sat poolside alongside the other guests at the occasion. Fans who have rooted for the newlywed couple since day one would recall when they shared news of their engagement on Instagram in May.

As seen on the 56-year-old producer's feed, she flaunted her engagement ring in multiple snaps, highlighting the square-cut diamond on her finger. The images captioned, "A thousand times… YES, @dominicpurcell," also showed Tish in Purcell's arms as he held her close to his chest and passionately kissed her cheek.

Months before the duo's engagement, news of their relationship came about when the Hopetown Entertainment owner dropped several heart emojis on one of the "Legends of Tomorrow" star's Instagram posts, which she followed with a "Hi Babe."

A source later revealed that Tish believed she had found her "soulmate" in Purcell and "wanted to keep their romance under wraps for a little while until she was sure he was The One."

Amid the Cyrus family celebrating Tish's nuptials, her two youngest children with Billy, Braison and Noah, skipped out on their mother's wedding. The pair were spotted hanging out together in LA away from the ceremony, prompting fans to believe there was a rift in the family.

In the photos uploaded by a fan on X, formerly Twitter, the "July" songstress was captured with her older brother at Walmart amid the ceremony. They were both dressed casually, with Noah wearing a graphic T-shirt featuring her father's face as a supposed shade towards their mom.

The follower also penned, "Noah Cyrus and Braison Cyrus spending the day together at Walmart in LA during Tish's wedding. Hope Miley, Tish, Brandi, Trace will ignore her wedding, too."
