Priscilla Presley remains a supportive grandmother to Riley Keough regardless of the drama in their family!

Speculations of a rift in the pair's bond began when the former wife of the late singer Elvis Presley decided to contest the will of their late daughter, Lisa Marie Presley. The actress seemingly disapproved of her granddaughter's being in charge of the Graceland estate.

Despite the terrible pictures painted by sources, the 78-year-old claims there was never any reason to doubt the duo's love for each other. According to the New Yorker, she and "The Girlfriend Experience" star maintained an amicable relationship throughout their legal drama.

The "Dallas" star's confession came months after reaching a settlement with Keough over Lisa Marie's estate. The agreement named the entertainer's granddaughter the sole heir of the multi-million-dollar property, an outcome the 78-year-old proudly supported.

“Riley is now the executor, which should be right, obviously, being her daughter,” Priscilla admitted, adding that she had no issues with the younger actress. “Riley and I are on good terms. We were never not on good terms. That was all publicity,” the New Yorker claimed.

The "Dancing with the Stars" alum seemingly slammed sources for spreading false tales about her strained relationship with Keough, stating their legal battle did not deserve third-party interference. “This is private, and this is not something to fool around with and say that we’re not agreeing,” the businesswoman quipped.

Assuring fans that there was no need for concern, the 78-year-old continued: “In fact, I’m having dinner with [Riley] tonight. We understand what needs to be done. I’m there for her. She knows that. She wants me there for her to help her.”

If anyone still doubted the "Elvis and Me" author's words, her granddaughter echoed similar claims of peace earlier this month. While appearing on the cover of Vanity Fair, the Santa Monica beauty claimed she never experienced a falling out with the Presley family's matriarch.

The 34-year-old confessed tensions were high following her mother's death as her loved ones struggled to understand their positions as relatives and business partners. “Everyone was in a bit of a panic to understand how we move forward, and it just took a minute to understand the details of the situation because it’s complicated,” Keough explained.

“We are a family, but there’s also a huge business side of our family. So I think that there was clarity that needed to be had,” the mother of one added, noting there were no further misunderstandings about how to proceed in Lisa Marie's absence.

“Things with Grandma will be happy. They’ve never not been happy,” Keough declared. “There was a bit of upheaval, but now everything’s going to be how it was. She’s a beautiful woman, and she was a huge part of creating my grandfather’s legacy and Graceland.”

Additionally, "The Terminal List" star called out those spreading negative stories about her relationship with Priscilla. “Anything that would suggest otherwise in the press makes me sad because, at the end of the day, all she wants is to love and protect Graceland and the Presley family and the legacy,” the 34-year-old said about her grandmother.
