Julie Bowen Assures Co-Star Sofia Vergara 'Doesn't Need' A Relationship After Joe Manganiello Split

Sofia Vergara has a ride-or-die friend in her "Modern Family" co-star Julie Bowen!

Following Vergara's announcement of her divorce from her ex-husband, Joe Manganiello, after seven years of marriage, the actress seems to have moved on from the situation.

While she has been busy entertaining fans by posting cheeky pictures on Instagram, Bowen has been her biggest cheerleader, motivating her in the comments section. Recently, Bowen expressed her admiration for the mom of one.

The two actresses, who starred in the ABC Sitcom, ''Modern Family,'' appear to have formed a bond outside of their acting careers and have remained good friends, having each other's back. 

During a friendly chat, Bowen revealed that she was excited for Vergara's next chapter after she stepped into her single-woman era. She proudly gushed about the Colombian beauty, saying, ''Everything she does, she does with grace. And she rises above and she just goes forward. She's warm and generous and giving to everybody around her.''

Bowen then asserted, ''I have no doubt that if she wishes to be in a relationship she will be but she sure don't need one.''  The "Happy Gilmore" star also revealed that Vergara has impressive dance skills and she would not mind hitting the dance floor with her on-screen stepmother.

She confessed to E! News, ''I would like that very much. Oh, but she would be so mad at me because I can't dance.'' The 53-year-old added, ''She's such a good dancer. She just does this slow hip roll for hours. And that's a lot of what hanging out with her is — it's slow rolling it for a long time.''

As for when she and Vergara would link up to go dancing, Bowen disclosed, ''We're gonna have to see, she's been traveling a lot and so was I. We have to wait for the summer to cool down.''

Last month, Bowen, who is divorced, was ecstatic after seeing the fiery pictures Vergara shared on her Instagram page amid her separation saga. The photos were taken in Capri, Italy, where the ''Hot Pursuit'' actress vacationed to celebrate turning 51 years old! 

Taking the breath of her followers away, Vergara stunned in a blue and black leopard-print one-piece bathing suit while soaking up the Mediterranean sun on a lush patio featuring green plants and a bouquet.

In the first photo, the gorgeous actress gave her fans a clear view of her tiny waist and curvaceous hips. Meanwhile, in the second slide, the mom of one knelt on a pool chair, carrying her skincare products, presumably to apply to her body. As for the last slide, the ''Chef'' actress set the internet on fire, flaunting her backside while hydrating under the Italian sun, taking a glass of water.

Adding a caption to her post, Vergara gushed, ''Last days of vacay! Even when u r so hot I love u Ravello!!! ??.'' Her cheerful post prompted a sweet reaction from her former co-star, Bowen, who penned, "This is what single and ? looks like!!! ❤❤❤❤❤.''

Followers of the actress also expressed their delight over her lovely photos. One fan wrote, ''I don't understand why people feel you need to show some type of suffering like you can't go on with life while dealing with a divorce. Speaking first hand. After my divorce, I upgraded myself @sofiavergara keep going mami.''

Days after commemorating her birthday in Italy, the Barranquilla native returned to Los Angeles to focus on her busy career as an actress and TV personality.

For her return since the news of her separation broke, the ''Wild Card'' actress stepped out without her wedding ring to go about her day.  Keeping her outfit simple, she opted for a casual baggy look and wore a long-sleeve gray top over blue Nike sweatpants and white sneakers.

The 51-year-old accessorized her fit with a matching white bag and oversized sunglasses. Her shoulder-length tresses were straightened and styled with a center parting while gold drop earrings graced her earlobes.

Elevating her modest style, the mom of one wore a breathtaking smile and made zero effort to hide her bare wedding finger. Additionally, the actress gave the paparazzi a thumbs up, confirming that the divorce did not tear her apart.
