Shanna Moakler's daughter, Alabama Barker, has had enough of body shamers!

The youngest daughter of Moakler and her former husband, Travis Barker, called out naysayers for constantly harping at her about her weight gain in a video posted to social media recently. In the same clip, she told her fans that her new look could be directly traced to an autoimmune disease and a thyroid problem that she has.

After numerous weeks of getting hurtful body-shaming remarks following the circulation of recent paparazzi snapshots, specifically, those labeling her a "catfish," Alabama has spoken in her defense. The teen addressed the ongoing issue in a video that she posted to TikTok, kicking off with a promise to "eat you up since I'm so fat."

"Paparazzi will purposely take pictures of you with your mouth open, middle of a sentence, and any ugly picture they can get of you just for views. I would love to see you guys getting random pictures of you taken when you're leaving the grocery store, in the middle of a sentence, with your mouth wide open and let's see how beautiful you look," she said.

After clarifying that she has "a thyroid problem and an autoimmune disease," which contribute to her weight gain, the 17-year-old continued, "So, it would be very appreciated if you guys just keep your opinions to yourself. It'll get you further in life."

Going further, Alabama explained that her weight "fluctuates" before sharing her hopes that young girls who are watching and "gaining weight" do not ever "think there's something wrong with it." Wrapping up, she stated:

"There is a certain point where if your health is getting affected by it, that you need to change it, but no… That's not the case for me and I would appreciate it if you guys put yourself in my shoes."

The honesty behind the reel expectedly appealed to her viewers, and one of them complimented her in the comments, writing, "ATE & left NO crumbs ??," and another claimed, "She calmly and respectfully ate the girlies up."

"thyroid is such a struggle i hate it so much. this made me feel a bit better ab having it but again i wish i never had this problem," a fourth cybercitizen wrote. A fifth person added, "I have thyroid problems and an autoimmune disease too so I understand ? weight really does fluctuate."

Like Alabama's fans, Moakler also shared an update to remind her daughter that she always has her back. Taking to her Instagram Story, the doting mother-of-three posted an image of a made-up Alabama posing in what appeared to be by a pool.
