Singer Taylor Swift recently shocked fans with news of the highly anticipated re-recording of her critically acclaimed album, "1989." This revelation led fans to believe her sixth studio album, "Reputation," will get the "Taylor's Version" treatment next.

The "Cruel Summer" singer's friend and close music collaborator, Ed Sheeran, now confirms in an interview that he has not re-recorded their song "End Game" yet, which would mean that "Reputation" TV might take a while before release.

Sheeran also talked about possibly headlining the Super Bowl halftime show and called it an "American thing." He said he doesn't "have pizazz" necessary to perform like past artists like Prince and Beyoncé.

During a recent interview on the "Deep & Shallow SiriusXM" podcast with Andy Cohen (via Billboard), Ed Sheeran spoke about his close friend, Taylor Swift. He revealed that they've re-recorded most of their songs together, with the exception of "End Game." The song also featured rapper Future and was on Swift's album "Reputation."

Sheeran told Cohen that the next re-recorded album coming out is Swift's "1989." That would be her fourth re-release, leaving only "Reputation" and her self-titled debut album. "Reputation" was her last album with Big Machine, her former and very controversial record label.

Sheeran discussed his next album with Cohen, saying its release is coming soon. The "I See Fire" singer has previously teased this release to fans on social media, including Instagram posts of "Autumn is coming."

From his recent post of jerseys at concerts, Sheeran's fans have speculated online on the album's release date. They believe it's going to debut in September, likely the 29th, which is the peak fall period. Sheeran himself only said, "It's an album about Autumn and I kind of have no expectations for it."

The singer explained that he's had this Autumn project in the works for some time. He stated, "It was the album I was trying to make, and then 'Subtract' happened. So I kind of have finished it over the last year and, yeah, it's ready to come out, so I'm gonna put it out."

The "Photograph" singer further explained that he doesn't have the "pizazz" to perform like past singers, like Prince, Michael Jackson, Rihanna, and Beyoncé. He said, "Like all of these amazing performers. I'm just not that; I'm not gonna have dancers on stage."

At the moment, a performer for the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime show has yet to be announced. The singers in consideration include Miley Cyrus, Drake, Taylor Swift, and others. The 2023 Super Bowl halftime performance was by Rihanna, where she debuted her second pregnancy.

In his interview, Cohen also asked Sheeran if he had plans to attend the Eras Tour and Beyoncé's ongoing Renaissance Tour. Both shows have dates that coincide a lot with Sheeran's Subtract tour dates. While Sheeran didn't comment on attending Renaissance, he did talk about seeing Swift perform live.

He said, "I think what's nice about everyone's show is everyone's show is so individual to them. And everyone's got a different show — we're all playing. I would love to go and see Taylor's show, but we're all playing on the same dates every single weekend. I think there's a chance next year when she's in the U.K."

Swift starts the U.K. leg of her Eras tour in June 2024, with four stops in London, Cardiff, Edinburgh, and Liverpool. Both Eras and Renaissance have become a cultural phenomenon that's making a huge impact on the tourism industry of the cities they perform. Both tours are poised to hit and surpass the $1 billion sales record, which would be historical.
