According to Daily Mail, in May, Simon showed his willingness to playfully address his evolving appearance on "Britain's Got Talent." During a live show, he humorously commented on his changing face, embracing the speculation.

"BGT" judge Amanda Holden made a joke about fellow judge Bruno Tonioli's face being accurately depicted using Rubik's Cubes. Baffled by the accuracy, Cowell asked the artist, "How the hell do you do that?" to which the artist responded, "Practice...turns out you have a really difficult face to make out of Rubik's Cubes." This joke led Cowell to quip, "I'll change my face...again."

However, Cowell recently admitted to taking his fondness for Botox to extreme lengths, resulting in a look that resembled something from a horror show.

He shared with The Sun that he decided to halt treatments when his son Eric, eight, found his appearance comically terrifying. He disclosed that he no longer uses facial fillers due to this experience.

Cowell's transformation became noticeable around the 11th season of "America's Got Talent" in 2016. He attributed the change to the trend of excessive cosmetic procedures, stating, "There was a phase where everyone was having their faces pumped full of this and the other."

He acknowledged that he may have pushed boundaries in his quest for youthfulness. Seeing a pre-treatment picture recently, he revealed that he "didn't recognize it as me first of all."
