The "Beverly Hills, 90210" star's marriage has been a rollercoaster of emotions with infidelity scandals and public disputes. However, her on-and-off again romance with the Canadian actor appears to be over.
Naturally, losing her longtime beau can not be easy for the blonde beauty. But the Los Angeles native is more concerned about her children's happiness than her estranged husband. Ahead of her kids' return to school, the 50-year-old recently reflected on their summer experience living in an RV.
Tori Spelling Seemingly Implies She Is Fine Without Dean McDermott Thanks To Their Kids
In her latest Instagram update, the mother of five gave her followers a rare view of her family's low-key getaway in a recreational vehicle. The 10-image slideshow captured the entertainer alongside her adorable kids; sons Liam, 16, Finn, 10, and Beau, 6, plus daughters Stella, 15, and Hattie, 11.
The first snap showed two of the older brood, Finn and Stella, posing on top of the automobile with their arms spread out like birds underneath the blue sky. Next came a stunning image of what appeared to be the California coastline with other RV's parked on the beach.
Spelling appeared on the third slide, rocking a green sweater over matching sweatpants as she snuggled with her youngest son Beau on a bed inside the vehicle. The TV personality's kids appeared to like their new home as there were snaps of them smiling while giving a thumbs up.
One of the snaps featured Liam sticking his head out of the RV's window. On the automobile's side was the brand name: "Sunseeker by Forest River." Down the carousel were more picturesque views from the family's trip, including a shot of the group at the beach and a beautiful image of the sunset at sea.
"As long as we have each other," the Los Angeles beauty captioned the heartwarming slideshow, adding the hashtags: "#summer2023, #familytime, #pricelessmemories, #ontheroad, #backtoschool." Presumably, to protect herself from unsolicited opinions about her RV stay, the 50-year-old turned off the comments on her post.
The "Mystery Girls" actress's mobile home update came after the entertainer and her children were spotted in the Sunseeker E450 RV earlier this month. Paparazzi photographed the family at a Ventura County campground, getting accustomed to their new surroundings.
They were seen setting up camp with various necessities, including camping chairs, a cooler, a stove, and a pop-up table. Additionally, they added a touch of comfort to their outdoor setting with a large rug.
The family transitioned to vehicular accommodation after staying at a budget motel in Los Angeles. Their former living arrangement reportedly cost $100 a night, an affordable and safer option following the unfortunate mold infestation at Spelling's marital home.
Dean McDermott Believes His Estranged Wife's RV Situation Is A Sympathy Ploy
Days before the "True Tori" star unveiled her family's mobile home experience, it was reported that her estranged husband is reportedly "furious" by her decision. An insider close to the Canadian hunk claimed the 56-year-old and Spelling's friends are shocked by her RV choice.
According to this informant, neither the reality TV star's estranged beau nor her pals believe she is financially unstable and saw her automobile accommodation as a ploy for attention. "They do not understand why she would be doing this unless for sympathy. She has money," the source explained.
As for the "Mind Over Murder" actor's personal feelings about the issue, the insider stated that McDermott is concerned about his children's wellbeing. He is allegedly upset by Spelling's unwillingness to accept help from friends.
"Dean does not think that the kids should be living like this, and of course, he is angry. He is furious at Tori because she is acting like a child," the source revealed, seemingly blaming the blonde beauty for her dissolved union.
"She had every opportunity to make this marriage work, and instead, she fostered the narrative for years that she was done with Dean," the informant claimed. Although the "Chopped Canada" host allegedly believed Spelling's RV situation is a sympathy ploy, others begged to differ.
According to another source, Spelling has genuinely faced financial difficulties. The 50-year-old is reportedly "doing her best to make things work and take care of her kids" while viewing their mobile home "as a mini vacation rather than a living situation."
