Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino's Tell-All Memoir Is Set For Fall Release

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is gearing up to share his life story in a tell-all memoir.

Fans of the "Jersey Shore" star are in for a treat as his much-anticipated book, set for a fall release, promises to take readers on a wild journey through the ups and downs of his rollercoaster life. The iconic fist-pumping star of the hit show thrilled his followers by sharing a sneak peek of the cover for his highly anticipated tell-all memoir, "Realty Check," in a recent Instagram post. 

The 41-year-old unveiled the captivating cover with two intriguing subtitles: "Making the Best of the Situation" and "How I Overcame Addiction, Loss, and Prison." It featured an extreme closeup of Sorrentino, expertly touched-up to showcase his face's natural yet airbrushed side. The other half saw him sporting sunglasses, party beads around his neck, and a vibrant wash of colors. 

The contrasting halves of the cover art seemingly symbolized his transformation from his hard-partying reality show alter-ego to his present sober self, achieved after conquering his battle with drugs seven years ago. In the caption, the reality star partly wrote:

"I'm so proud and excited to announce my book is coming out this fall! I've been writing my autobiography for over a year now, and it's finally done and ready to share with the world. I wrote about trying heroin, losing the love of my life, finding myself broke and homeless, and how when everything seemed lost, I refused to give up."

Additionally, the TV personality teased the inclusion of "hilarious behind-the-scenes stories" from his time on the popular MTV reality series. He also mentioned that his fans could preorder a signed copy directly from the book's official website at the same price.

After the "Celebrity Big Brother" housemate's announcement, his "Jersey Shore" castmates joined in with well wishes. Vinny Guadagnino commented, "Old sitch vs. new sitch!!!!" while Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi exclaimed, "LETS GO! So proud of you!"

His wife, Lauren Sorrentino, also expressed her pride, stating, "I am so proud of you honey ??? ??♥️ this book brings me to many tears ? I can't wait for you all to read it!" At the same time, one supporter excitedly declared, "YOU ARE OFFICIALLY "THE PUBLICATION!!!!"

In March, the "Celebrity Family Feud" star posted a thoughtful photo of himself holding the "big book of Alcoholics Anonymous," a book that he credits with helping him through difficult times. About the book, "The Situation" shared:

"Most of you know that I struggled with addiction to pills, but this program can be related to any addiction or substance that you use. It is a program of fellowship and changing perspective and perception."

He explained that after completing his treatment, he diligently followed the suggestions – attending meetings daily, undergoing treatment for nearly a year, finding a sponsor, and working on the steps. The "Ron's Gone Wrong" voice star continued:

"These suggestions put me on the path to recovery and helped make the man that stands before you with 5 years clean and sober." 

The couple shared the exciting news of their second child's arrival on January 25. The Blast reported that the "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars" alum made the announcement on Instagram, introducing Mia Bella Elizabeth Sorrentino to the world. 

Alongside a carousel of photos, he penned, "We got an amazing Situation?!! We are beyond overjoyed to welcome our little girl into this world to join our growing family of 4 ?‍?‍?‍?." 

Sorrentino proudly shared the birth details of their little one, who arrived at 8:22 am on January 24, 2023. The adorable bundle of joy weighed 5 pounds 15 ounces and measured 18 inches long.

The news of the baby's arrival garnered warm congratulations from various celebrities and official accounts, including a comment from "Jersey Shore," which read, "a new member of the fam CONGRATULATIONS ❤️❤️." MTV's official account also chimed in excitedly, writing, "congratulationsssss ?," while "Wild N' Out" star Justina Valentine stated, "Congrats❗️?❤️??."

Before the announcement of Mia Bella's arrival, the proud father teased fans with a clip from the latest season of "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation." The new parents excitedly revealed that their family was about to grow in the teaser.
