Tori Kelly is feeling stronger following her recent medical emergency.
The 30-year-old artist, known for her powerful vocals and soulful performances, was hospitalized after she reportedly complained of an unusually rapid heartbeat and passed out during dinner with her friends in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday.
It was soon revealed that doctors were treating Kelly for blood clots discovered in her legs and lungs while trying to confirm her heart was unaffected. Amid concerned fans and followers anxiously awaiting updates on her condition, her husband, André Murillo, took to social media to provide one, sharing the latest developments regarding her well-being.
André Murillo Has Assured Concerned Parties Of Tori Kelly's Recovery Progress
In the fresh update uploaded on his Instagram Story on Wednesday, July 26, Murillo maintained an optimistic outlook on his wife's well-being. Despite that, the basketball player clarified to his 41k followers that Kelly's health was not entirely in the clear. Explaining the situation, he wrote in white text against a black background:
"Tori is smiling again and feeling stronger. Not out of the woods but we see the sun. Just waiting on a few more answers. Your love and kindness has been overwhelming. Thank you so so much! ❤️"
Before this, the 33-year-old had uploaded a video featuring his beloved wife's verse from her collaboration with singer Justin Bieber on the 2021 track, "Where Do I Fit In" on his Per The Blast, the lyrics that flashed across the black screen read:
"When I'm all alone, and fear is all I see / Sitting in the silence with these insecurities / It's then you remind me, you're holding me tight / And you love me completely, you're always by my side."
Even though we have no access to the responses Murillo received in his DMs, we are confident they would have been as overwhelming as the ones he got when he previously shared three loved-up slides of him and Kelly.
Although the Instagram post had garnered thoughts of likes when he initially made it on July 13, the comments more than doubled after the news of the "Let's Go Crazy" hitmaker's hospitalization surfaced.
"Absolutely praying for you guys, and that Tori will be healed!! I and many others are standing in prayer. She has an incredible gift and soul that shines - may a miracle arise here! God bless you both," one fan commented.
A second person stated, "continuing to pray for tori & the fam. y'all mean the world to all of us & hope you feel all of the prayers & love coming y'all's way," and a third assured, "Everything will be fine ❤️."
"Praying for you both. Andre I know you're soldering but we are praying for you because we know it's not easy. Hang in there," a fourth netizen wrote.

Besides camping in Murillo's comments to share their deepest desires for his wife, fans had also taken to Twitter to tweet their thoughts and love for her. As The Blast reported, one cybercitizen had expressed hope that the "I Was Made for Loving You" singer "is okay."
Another person declared, "praying for tori kelly man i hope she makes it through, she seems like such a sweet and genuine soul." A third person pleaded with the performer to "Please please please get better," because the world still needed people like her.
