Fans Pour Out Support For Tori Kelly Amid Hospitalization

Fans have surrounded Tori Kelly with support following her health scare.

In the hours after news broke that the actress and singer was rushed to the hospital after collapsing at a dinner on Sunday night, many of her supporters have shared their thoughts and prayers for her. The unfortunate incident comes a couple of weeks after she announced that her self-titled EP would drop on July 28.

Prayers and well-wishes have begun pouring in for Kelly, who is currently hospitalized and getting treated for blood clots found around her vital organs, with one insider informing TMZ the situation is dire.

Per the outlet, multiple people, who share a relationship with the 30-year-old, claim that she was having dinner in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, July 23, with her friends when she complained of feeling uneasy.

Within minutes, her heartbeat had quickened, leading to the Grammy Award-winning songstress fainting and being "out for a while." The "Jerry & Marge Go Large" actress was quickly transported to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in a car.

At the hospital, doctors discovered clots in her lungs and legs and are said to be working hard to determine if there are any clots around her heart. Reacting to the heartbreaking information, one fan took to Twitter to express hope that "Tori Kelly is okay," while another tweeted, "praying for tori kelly man i hope she makes it through, she seems like such a sweet and genuine soul."

A third netizen declared they are "praying for Tori Kelly ???," and a fourth added, "Please please please get better, Miss Tori Kelly as the world needs people like you." A fifth Twitter user noted, "Nah, we need to come together to pray for Tori Kelly. Get baby girl through."

"Yikes. That's going to be a huge stinger, especially for her family & friends. But if Damar Hamlin & Jamie Foxx have taught us anything, it's that miracles can happen, and I'm actively praying that God, Jesus, & every deity out there keeps Tori Kelly with us," a sixth cybercitizen hopefully tweeted.

A seventh person swore that if anything happened to Kelly, they would be "inconsolable," and an eighth tagged the "Dear No One" hitmaker, writing, "sending love and prayers for your full recovery. Angel on earth!"

Similarly, her fanbase flooded the comment section of her social media pages, including her last Instagram post, dated July 11, and her tweet, dated July 19, with their prayers. 

"Victoria Loren, we are out here praying over you... For strength to fight this and a path to healing & recovery. Sending love your way," one person penned under her Instagram post. A second well-wisher encouraged, "Hang in there TK ?? sending you love and healing vibes from the LGBTQ community."

Before Kelly's health took an unexpected turn, she had sat with Elite Daily to talk about her "new era" and hairstyle change ahead of the upcoming release of her "Tori" EP. Although the interview was held in May, the publication threw back to it in their Monday, July 24 edition, pointing out that the "I Say A Little Prayer" artist explained her makeover: 

"When I was in the studio, I was already starting to let my roots grow out. I was like, 'I'm over this. I don't wanna dye my hair anymore. I think it's just time for a change.' It just made sense to not dye my hair. It just felt right. This look is both very natural and a progression of me figuring out what I love."

Her progression will definitely shine through in her musical project, which contains seven songs, including her hit single "Missin' U." On the track, which she dropped in March, Kelly effortlessly reminds her audience that her voice was made for blending pop and R&B. 

In less than two minutes, the "Rugrats" voice actress reflects on a previous romantic connection, expressing a willingness to rekindle it. Infused with elements of classic United Kingdom R&B similar to singer Craig David's "Fill Me In," she captivates listeners with her infectious and enjoyable sound.
