Al Roker will be back on his feet soon, doing what he does best.

The Television personality was rushed to the hospital about two months ago when he had a life-threatening health risk of blood and lung clots. This caused him to miss out on several broadcasts of the "TODAY" show, especially the "Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade" and "the annual Christmas Tree Lighting" at the Rockefeller Center.

Al Roker Is Going Back To Work!

Roker, who is expected to return to his hosting job on Friday, will continue to serve as a weatherman and anchor after fully recovering from his extended health issues. The exciting news of his return was shared with viewers of the NBC morning show by fellow Anchors Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, and Craig Melvin.

This amusement over Roker's return by the Today's team is likely because he has been an integral part of the show since 1996 though his substitute appearance dates back to 1990.

Therefore, it was unquestionable when the three Anchors who have worked closely with him over the years sat in their usual fashion around a big glass table, glaring with excitement as they communicated the information of his return to work.

"Everyone's like, 'When when?' Well, we have our date; He'll be here Friday, He'll be right here in Studio 1A . This is his place. He'll be in his seat, right where he belongs. I cannot wait for that."

Today's male host, Melvin, spoke of the journalist's return by commending the reunion and concluded by saying he loved the idea of "everyone back together," to which the 51-year-old Guthrie sweetly chimed into saying, "Our sunshine is coming back Friday morning."
