We've seen "Deadpool" and loved it. We've also seen "Green Lantern" and not loved it. What we do know is that over the years, the 46-year-old has turned into quite the action star. That said it seems back in 2009, this wasn't the case and when he starred with Sandra Bullock in the rom-com, "The Proposal", she was the boss man, err, woman.

The movie turned out to be a box office hit and one of the early few that truly kickstarted Reynolds' career, even if he did have to get bare with Sandra Bullock.

And this is the scene Reynolds decided to run on his Instagram to wish Sandra Bullock a happy 59th, as he captioned the intimate scene video, writing: "Happy Birthday to the inimitable and stunning Sandra Bullock! For your birthday this year, I got us both intimacy coordinators. And an HR department. And clothing?"

Of course, it's a throwback video. That said, fans still love it, because it's Reynolds and Bullock, crashing into each other, sans clothing, as they dubbed this movie "Deadpool 3: The Falling!"

Since the two were mostly shown bare as the day they were born, at the time there was an extensive media campaign around the movie, and both Bullock and Reynolds spoke about the scene and its production details with the media. Sandra Bullock mentioned that she was nervous while shooting it but when she saw everyone taking it just like a normal day and scene, it claimed her down. That said, while they were given fig leaves to wear, essentially pieced of skin-colored adhesive clothes, they kept falling off and they could see "literally everything."

Reynolds had similar feelings, as he admitted that filming a scene that involves being without any clothes can be pretty awkward, especially when it takes a few days to shoot. He did point to the brighter side of things saying that once the initial weirdness fades, it becomes just another day when you can talk about normal stuff and have mundane conversations about everything, including weather. The only difference, he remarked back then, is that you are not wearing pants.

For the fans, it's a hard choice for they don't know who they want to be, as one wrote, "I've never wanted to be Sandra Bullock so bad … I mean Ryan Reynolds."

Meanwhile, Bullock isn't the only co-star from "The Proposal" Reynolds remembers. He was also one the first celebs to reach to Betty White's passing who often joked that he had a forever crush on her!

Given that things have changed a ton in Hollywood since 2009, intimacy coordinators are the need of the day to make actors feel more comfortable. Today such scenes are shot in closed sets, and Reynolds may actually be trying to convey something deeper - that in 2009, things did not go as tastefully as they should have, especially for the female actors.

Meanwhile, Bullock, is very reticent about her private life, be it about her partner Bryan Randall, or her kids, Louis and Laila Bullock, aged 13 and 11 respectively. Earlier last year, she decided to take a step back from work and spend more time with her family. She did do "The Lost City" with Channing Tatum and also guest starred in "The Bullet Train" with Brad Pitt, a favor he reciprocated in her movie.

At the time, Bullock said, "Work has always been steady for me, and I've been so lucky." She said she realized after getting nearly burnt out that work does not validate her. And it's okay to take a step back.

So here's hoping Sandra Bullock is having one cool birthday especially as David Beckham does not consider "The Proposal" something Reynolds needs to apologize for.
