Peta Murgatroyd Gushes Over Newborn Days After He Turned One Month

Motherhood has never looked more cute as Peta Murgatroyd treats fans to a sweet clip of her newborn son, Rio John, who just marked a new milestone.

The "Dancing With the Stars" season 14 winner welcomed her second son on June 18 and is quite glad to be experiencing this feeling again after pushing for it for years. Beyond that, she appears to be having the time of her life as her little one grows and develops at every turn.

The newest addition to the beautiful family of four turned a month days ago, and in true mama bear fashion, the mom of two put up a pleasing video of her son with a short write-up gushing over him.

On Instagram recently, the "Faith, Hope & Love" actress was happy to share her bliss with thousands of followers to adore. In this particular post, she hailed her baby boy for clocking the one-month milestone.

The clip, set to a low-tone lullaby song, showed the tiny tot covered with a fluffy blanket. It starts by displaying the newborn's name on white apparel, then it moves to Rio, who is wide awake in his crib and giving super-cute movements and faces.

As the one-month-old lay beneath his crib plaything, his mother's hand, presumably, reached for his tiny fists just before the upload ended. The "Burn the Floor" star, clearly on cloud nine, wrote in her post's caption, "Happy 1 Month of life my little Rio ?." 

The professional dancer further listed her son's unique features and developing traits, writing, "This little boy, though, has blessed us with endless eyebrow scowls, smirky smiles, huge poops, the most curious eyes, and chunky thighs! He's my milk monster, my guy can eat for hours. when this kid is hungry, you better have it ready."

The loving mother added that the little one "loves his bath time but loathes getting dressed after" and shared how his cries can make coyotes howl whenever he's cold. Summing up her post, she wrote, "A month of pure bliss with a side of sleepless nights...Thank you for choosing us @rio.john.chmerkovskiy you are loved beyond measure XO."

Fans surged underneath the post to display excitement over the update, with many doting on the little one. Sharna Burgess wrote, "I love him ?," whereas Nikki Garcia noted three heartwarming emojis. One commentator wrote, "He is just so alert and engaged! I th[i]nk he is very special! ❤️."

A second fan wrote, "Sir Rio John is a Star in the making... Such a sweet lil Boy… ??." "He's a Max & Peta mini me ?," a third confirmed. A fourth fan sweetly remarked, "Rio is gorgeous…... just like his brother, Momma and Papa ???."

The heartfelt post brings to mind when the star's hubby Maksim Chmerkovskiy, also the father of her two sons— Shai Aleksander and newborn Rio John— shared an adorable photo with the kids.

In the snap, Rio was asleep in his father's arms while his big brother, Shai, looked on from the side. The six-year-old was bare chest and only wore colorful shorts. As for the father of two, he covered his bottom half with a white duvet and protected some parts of his naked chest with a white blanket with blue-and-red stripes.

Chmerkovskiy was visibly happy as he smiled at the camera. The sweet image upload was captioned, "New favorite pic of all time!" adding, "Father of two Est 2017 #MadeInPeta," to reference his wife of five years.

The couple's second son was born just in time to witness his parents mark their sixth wedding anniversary. To celebrate, Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd excitedly commemorated with throwback nuptials pictures.

While the Ukrainian-born choreographer posted one snapshot of the lovebirds, his wife went extra hard and shared more photos of her and her beau from their wedding. In one slide, the pair were kissing under a rainbow at sunset while another saw her beau kissing her on the cheek.

The loving wife added a video of them sharing an embrace and several kisses at their wedding reception. She enclosed the post with an endearing message that read:

"Love of my life @maksimc, Happy Anniversary, my favorite human…6 years married 10 years together. You're without a doubt my best friend on planet earth, my love for you is infinite. ❤️.” 

The comment section was loaded with congratulatory remarks for the lovers. One admirer penned: “Sincerely one of the most beautiful weddings! Happy Anniversary,” while Nikki Garcia — one half of the Bella Twins — commented with a red heart emoji.

Their sister-in-law Jenna Johnson wrote, “Happy Anniversary ??.”
